You expect too much of a guy whom you clearly don't think is capable. Two starts man, two - with playoffs on the line.
I like how we can debate after the game about Matt Moore. Feels good that it's behind a win and not a loss. Rare for us to do that lol.
P.S. I hope Gase reeeeeeeeems Moore for the end of 1st half endzone pass and then his OT 3rd-and-5 deep ball. Bonheaded hero ball.
Moore has a real coach now. He was under Sparano when he took over. He now has an actual Head Coach who knows how to make the quarterback better.
Now maybe you'll understand about how people don't understand all the *****ing about Tannehill after a win.
Why. No guarantee they get a fg in the first half going to that side of the field. He threw a deep int. The ot pass looks like sims was fooled by the ball in the wind. He takes chances and helps keep the defense honest.
Then start an "Injustice" thread to compare these things. This is supposed to be a feel-good thread for a guy thrust into action at a very conspicuous point of the season.
Well you're right - no telling if Franks would've hit a 46 yarder at the end of the 1st. But then again, what if Moore plays the shorter routes and we move the chains? His OT pass was inexcusable.
Oh sure...people can clutter threads celebrating wins with anti-Tannehill crap...but don't you dare say anything about Moore!! Glad they won. Glad Moore didn't cost us the game. Freaking ecstatic that Ajayi ran like a beast today.
Ill take it. great game considering the situation. good **** matt. Im so much less angry about that IDIOTIC throw before halftime since we won. seriously 9 years in the nfl and you try that? Either way. he is doing enough to win with the team and the coaches are obviously doing everything they can to help him succeed.
You're gonna call somebody a fake fan, when you constantly rag about Tannehill and he's the team's starting QB? 'Nuff said.
Carr looked like he broke something in his leg. He had to be helped off the field. What a bad year for quarterbacks.
Today was Matt in a nutshell. He made a couple nice throws, but he's not very accurate and got lucky a few times on passes that should have been intercepted. However, he did what was asked of him and I'm thrilled about that. He didn't have to do too much because Ajayi was a beast. I'm finding that I have a bit more confidence in Matt with Gase in charge. He's going to put him in the best position.
If your initials are MM, ya. RT had 3 in bad weather against the Cardinals (a much better defense), yet he's a scrub 'cuz MM had the GWD!!
You said he contributed WITH 2 tds, as if that is something impressive. If you think that today's game was a good game by Moore, then we must have watched different games. Ajayi was the beast today, and deserves mad props.
He had a decent game. Not good, not bad. Overall. But I know for a FACT if RT had that game, throwing that 1st half pick in the endzone, throwing around a buncha ducks like it's hunting season, putting up an 87 passer rating, he'd be slammed. Seen all I need to out of a particular group of 4 or so posters, I won't discuss it anymore.
Remind me again how we win without Moore's 2 TD's HENCE he contributed. The WR's weren't throwing to themselves out there. Gonna be waiting a while for your amazing response.
Two TDs a game is 32 for the year which is more than Tanny's ever thrown. 30+ TDs is pretty respectable. Of course, nobody just gets 2 per game for 16 games. Have to balance your 0 and 1 TD games with some 3s and 4s.
I dont want to talk about qbs All i want to say is that was amazing...absolutely amazing! Adam gase you are a super star! That was the best miami called game i have ever seen play call formations and personnel wise...an absolute super star
I'll say one thing, though I didn't get to see most of the game I did see Moore out there blocking tonight on the Drake break-out run. That was awesome.
He gave me a heart attacked calling the 55 yard FG after Williams failed to get out of bounds ..... especially after what a dud Franks has been. Thankfully that man's baby nuts finally dropped.
