Interesting stuff: If Broncos win this week, and Patriots beat us next week, and then the Broncos beat the Carr-less Raiders it comes down to the Chargers winning.
Easier said then done. How about Denver just loses tomorrow and then it doesn't matter what happens in the final week.
New England does have trouble in Miami. Yes. The playoff generator is scary. Esp if Balt and Pitt end up 10-6
if we won the 1st rd would we not play the 1st seed the next rd? Are you saying oakland who lost carr is going to win the 1st seed spot over NE? Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
no, but if miami is a 5 seed there is a chance the don't have to play the pats if the 6th seed wins. but if they are 6, they will def. play the pats.
Both have no effect on our outcome. 10-6 Baltimore automatically wins the division, we tie break over Steelers. Yes NE has lost 3 in a row in Miami. We also lost 4 in a row to Buffalo. Right now our best option is Denver to lose and let the rest sort itself out. Besides we could use a week to let some of our players get healthy. Ajayi definitely needs either a week off or a very very limited load next week.
In that scenerio we would not face the texans on wildcard weekend. We will see either pitt or balt Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
They do really need to redo the divisions. Playing each team in division twice is stupid and only having two wildcards. They should go to 4 - 8 team divisions
Nobody and I mean NOBODY should be rooting for Denver tomm because we may get the 5 seed. We have a much better shot at missing the playoffs all together if Den wins tomm. KC beat em...we will toy around with NE and get ready for Pitt/Bal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dear Santa- I know I said all I wanted for Christmas was a Dolphins win but I've changed my mind. All I really want for Christmas is a KC win.
Sucks about Carr. I really thought they had a chance to beat the Patriots in the AFC. He was playing lights out. And now that gives the Broncos an easier path should they beat KC.
We currently have 92% odds to get in. https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-nfl-predictions/?ex_cid=rrpromo This is what matters: if we win v NE or DEN loses either against KC or OAK, we are in. But even if none of this happens, we'd have a 30% chance--we'd need SD to upset KC the final week. Funny that PIT/BAL don't matter. We are sitting pretty my friends...essentially we'd need 4 coin flips in a row to all come up heads to be knocked out (I just played with wins/losses, not ties in the generator above).
If we beat the Pats, we're in regardless of any other factor. If Denver loses or ties in either game, we're in. If Denver wins both, we're in if KC loses in week 17. That's about all we have to worry about at this time....we just need Denver to lose or tie to lock things up.
It's never easy for Miami! I have a feeling Denver wins tomorrow. So glad it's in kC though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I have a feeling Denver wins tomorrow too and it's a nauseating feeling. I might not be able to watch our game with NE next week.
