I was seeing 10 degrees. The cold weather helps Pittsburg they are used to these games. The stars are aligning for an ugly exit for the Phins me thinks.

My buddy from Hollywood bought tickets for the game and is flying up, he's a Florida boy true and true. I'm already making plans to fly down for his eventual wake. He's going to freeze to death.

yeah but is it going to snow? Or Rain it happens to be above 32?
I don't know, I think our horse in the backfield (who played at Boise St) could be better suited for this. More wind means less passing, and that is a chink in the armor of Pitt. Miami wants this game close, no shootout, they have proven they can win close games.

I think it will be sunny, so just dress warm and everything will be fine.

I actually think the cold weather will help us more than the Steelers. A heavy dose of Ajayi is really going to help the offense and nobody on that defense is going to want to tackle the human wrecking ball with temperatures that low.

We're going to most likely give up a lot of rushing yards regardless, so if we can match that due to the cold weather and Ajayi being a bruiser then it should benefit us.

Doesn't that also apply to our defenders and Bell?

Not really. I mean I guess ideally it would but we'd need to have actual linebackers out there playing instead of corpses for it to really matter.

    I don't follow.

If the cold makes it unpleasant to block a runner, doesn't that mean that it'll be just as unpleasant for our defenders blocking Le'Veon Bell as it might be for the Steelers against Ajayi?

The cold should definitely help us because it helps neutralize Roethlisberger if history is any indication. Some stats from the 10 coldest games in NFL history:
    http://www.startribune.com/how-does-cold-weather-impact-nfl-teams-heres-a-quick-look/364384051/

    1. Road teams have won 5 of 10 coldest games
    2. Quarterbacks in those 10 games combined to complete just 51 percent of their passes, while the teams combined for a total of 50 turnovers — five per game, 2.5 per team.
    3. In the five coldest games, all of them playoff games, the completion percentage for quarterbacks dropped to 48.7%.
    4. In the five coldest games, again all of them in the playoffs, the average total points scored by both teams combined was 30.4, and four of the five games were decided by four points or less.

So yeah.. this is good news even if it's not as cold as those 10 games, especially since we have Ajayi.

I was born and raised in FL.

The high where I am today was 8 degrees. It's not that bad.

Didn't we beat the Chiefs in 10 degrees not that long ago in their house. The better team will win. We can't use the conditions or the cold as an excuse.

That was a terrible Chiefs team though, and we had to come back to win. Though that sort of confirms the theory that really cold weather events things out and lets the lesser team stay in the game. The teams combined for almost 900 yards of offense that day though.

Eh...trust me...this weather is not nearly as bad as 39 and rain.

19 and some snow is fine..guys will dress warm and when game gets going probably wont even realize it.

Underarmor cold gear is awsome stuff.

Exactly. I go out and run each morning. This morning it was -6F. Once I got going my face was a little cold, but I was warm and sweating a few minutes into my run. I tell people all the time how much colder FL 40 degrees is than up north 40 degrees. The bone chilling dampness in FL will get you cold a lot faster.
