Vance's defense gave up the most yards in Fins history, but Dom Capers' 2007 defense gave up the most points. Which was worse? Yeah. Exactly. The points. Vance did a good job of keeping us average with JAGs signed off the street and special teamers at LB and safety. Not sure why people are making such an issue of the yards given we won 10 games and were within a TD or less of winning several others.
If nobody here will say it... I will... How about you at least try to speak to others on this board with some respect and decency even if they disagree with your point? Get over yourself already. ****. Not just you, all of you. It's depressing to come here. Enough of this crap already. If you cant agree, and disagree with respect, then find somewhere else to be an ***.
It was better but I don't know if I would use the words MUCH better. Football Outsiders has the offense ranked 14th and the defense ranked 19th. They were about even until week 16 both ranked around 17th when the offense actually improved up to 14th with Moore starting and the defense took a step back after suffering a few key injuries. So you could make the argument that injuries hurt the defense, but they helped the offense...
If so I wish him the best. Don't let the door hit him on the way out. Sent from my F3111 using Tapatalk
Well, yes. That is correct. NFL executives continue to hire proven failures to HC positions. Fact. Yes, I know more because I use basic commonsense. Simple as that.
I never trust people who correct typos on a message board. As for ignorance, if you considering me calling out the DC of the franchise's WORST defense in team HISTORY, then you, my friend, are the ignorant and blind one. Open your eyes and remove your head form your rectum.
Thank you. I use simple commonsense. Champions like Bill Bellicheck coach to their strengths and away from weaknesses. VJ was unable to do that. These are facts, and not opinions. So yes, thank you for calling me a well balanced gentleman. Appreciate it!
What happened to sticking strictly to the contents of a post and addressing that alone? Calling other fans "asshats" and "dumbasses" for having different opinions about the same team is out of order. There isn't a definitive answer on whether Vance made the best of a bad situation or if he somewhat failed. Without question, though, the players believed in him -- and that's got to count for a lot after several other regimes didn't have that trust. But, whatever the opinion, disagreement can be done civilly. That's the idea of a forum.
I didn't correct anything. I merely pointed out that the post was ignorant and wrong from top to bottom. The last 2 seasons defense was worse than this year, so how can this year be the "WORST" in "HISTORY"? lol Did you call Denver yet and let them know that their NEW HEAD COACH (lol) is a mistake?
Absolutely not, I want Denver to hire him so he leaves Miami. And by worst defense, I'm referring to giving up more yards than any other season in franchise history. And my posts are never wrong. My posts are spot on with genuine logic.
So they lost? Help me out here...I mean, they outgained us by about 120 yards...So, we lost, right? I mean, if yards are the measuring stick, right?
I don't disagree with most of what you wrote but not all players believed in him. Mario didn't for one.
You can project Vance as a failure as a HC, that atleast is fair because NOBODY knows how he will handle that. But to claim he is a "horrible DC" is dumb as fk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well I think its time for this post to go to the AFC rivals forum and changed to NOW I REALLY THINK VANCE IS OVER HIS HEAD!
This puts a whole new spin on the whole "in over his head" concept: http://deadspin.com/new-broncos-coach-vance-joseph-left-university-of-color-1791303337
