I doubt a guy asking to be featured more is unmotivated. Also, if an unmotivated player can go for 23 and 13 on 12 shots, that's pretty damn impressive.
Steph who? Kyrie has clearly dominated the H2H matchups, and frankly is the biggest pain in the Warriors ***.
Was a great game. Although it doesn't matter IMO in the grand scheme of things, I am glad we won. I was certainly worried when we went down 12 with like 9 mins left in the 4th.
It matters in the sense of the mental edge once the finals start, especially if Cle wins @ GS. Cleveland got so little production out of the 2 spot that it may even be encouraging, although Steph Curry continues to be pedestrian when facing the Cavs...Kevin Durant was far and away the best player on that offense yesterday. We haven't seen a basketball rivalry like this in a LONG time, so it is fun to watch.
Tank it, Heat. At least JRich played his first good game in a while. But yeah...trade Dragic, and tank.
This Rockets-Mavs game has gotten way out of control. There have been damn near 10 techs and flagrants. Don't get mad that the Rockets are beating you by 30 and got the 4-0 season sweep. Pat Beverly didn't play this game because of injury....and still almost got ejected, lol. I love this guy. They tossed Ariza though. By the way, Eric Gordon (6th Man of the Year) is now #1 in the league in three pointers made. Sorry, Steph.
I go back and forth on the idea of trading Dragic. Last night, yeah I was thinking full tank mode. But he's playing so damn well on a great contract. But he's also 30 on a team that's a ways from contending. But he also makes things easier for the young guys development. But his trade value is probably peaking right now. But without Goran this team will be BRUTAL to watch. Damn.
I think it depends on what you can get. If you can get a lottery pick in this draft, I think you probably should pull the trigger. Two lotto picks plus the young talent they have, plus lots of money to spend, and you are looking at a chance to build something special long term. If not, I'm ok keeping him. He's playing at an all-star level right now and Riley will probably turn it around fairly quickly.
Lmao...Doc Rivers and Austin Rivers got tossed out the game at the same time. Teams are really getting frustrated playing the Rockets lately. Blame yourselves for being down 25 points in the 2nd quarter. Montrezl Harrell absolutely dominating Deandre Jordan. Its scary how fast he, Capela, and Dekker are developing under Dantoni. That idiot, McHale, wouldn't have even given them a chance. 140 points tonight. Montrezl dropped 29. Knicks on the back-to-back tomorrow. Hopefully the Rockets left something in the tank.
53 points 17 assists 16 rebounds James Harden is unbelievable. This is in the 2nd game of a back-to-back...smh 26-9
Wizards were kicking the Rockets' butts...up by 16. Harden was tired from his historic triple-double against the Knicks. Beverly out again (he's made of paper). It looked pretty bad, until.... Eric Gordon went the hell off, lol. 6th Man of the Year dropped 31 on them. Harden says Gordon should be an All-Star...I agree. 27-9. I love this squad.
And with that, there's not much to get excited about this season. Time to sell what you can. Try and get a lotto pick for Dragic. I wonder what you can get for James Johnson? He has been the most pleasant surprise this season and could probably legitimately help a contending team.
Tyler has been awesome. A revelation, really. JRich is looking better, and he'll have more opportunities to initiate now that Justise is out. I'd like to see him put the ball on the floor more against better competition/defenders. But yeah... Engage Tank Mode. Before the year I didn't think we'd be in position to possibly land a guy like Markelle Fultz or Dennis Smith. (DSJ looks better by the week coming off that ACL.) But here we are. And this draft is juicy.
Huge win against OKC and their 7-footers. They dominated us on the boards. But, Dantoni does it again. 28-9. 6 straight. Man, we need Capela back
Another one. 29-9. 7 straight. 13 wins away from what the EXPERTS predicted. Hopefully we can get that 8th seed. Its gonna be tough. Not bad for a team without an All-NBA player...Not ONE!!!
Saw the Heat in person tonight for the first time this year. I realize they were without two of their 3 best players and the other one was somehow inexplicably ejected for getting cheap shotted. That being said, this team is godawful. I can't ever remember seeing a Heat defense look as bad as they did tonight. Luke Babbit brings nothing to the table, Derrick Williams is really, really bad, and Rodney McGruder looks like a D league player. I honestly didn't care if they won or lost because losing helps with lottery percentages, and being there for one of their lone wins wouldn't have been bad; but you really get an appreciation for just how bad this team is when you see them in person. Also, how pathetic have the Lakers become? It was loudest BY FAR, when they wanted the Heat to miss free throws to keep it under 100 points so that fans could get free Jack in the Box tacos that normally cost $1 and are some of the worst tacos you'll ever eat (I'm not sure what's in them even qualifies as meat, and I'm not exaggerating). The second loudest was when Meta World Peace came in the game, and when he was called for his 3 fouls in about a minute's work. It's crazy that at one time this was the gold standard in the NBA.
Nice win in Toronto. I needed that after watching the Dolphins earlier. Harden 40 points, 11 assists, 10 rebs. Montrezl Harrell dropped 28. That 2015 draft by Daryl Morey is really turning into something special. 30-9. 8 straight.
40 points, 14 rebs, 10 assists tonight from Harden. Got this one without Eric Gordon. Get that toe together because there is another game tomorrow. (seems like there has been wayyyy too many back-to-backs). 31-9. 9 in a row. Capela should be back in a week.
Riley is definitely tanking. Not saying we're good, but we're not 2nd to last bad. Does spo stick around? Do y'all think there's a big enough drop off from markelle to ds jr to want 1st in the lottery? If we land one of those guys I'm all about moving dragic and hopefully getting a late lotto.
Its not tanking when you just dont have the players that finish games. We are just a bad team, unwatchable Much like our 15 win season. We have a bunch of guys that can play the game, but theyre scattered pieces who would be the 7th/8th guy on the bench. Goran and Whiteside are the only true starters, and Goran is probably not in the blueprint for the future.
Lonzo Ball probably goes #2. I think it's pretty close between him and Fultz. Don't forget about Jackson, Tatum and Isaac either. Tatum and Isaac may not have the superstar ceiling but seem to have low bust potential. Jackson might end up being Scottie Pippen or he could be a more athletic Winslow
Hey remember when section and fin o made that bet to start the year about having the better record? I wonder if either actually cares now since both our teams suck and winning is actually losing (as far as the lottery percentages go)? #EmbraceTheTank
I think Tatum's upside could be pretty good, and Isaac may be the biggest boom or bust player in the draft, IMO. Isaac has monster upside, but he hasn't produced a ton yet in college. Tatum has some Melo to his game as an iso scorer. Jabari Parker might be a more modest comparison. As for Jackson, the thing is with Winslow on board, I think you stay away from him. If he becomes the next Kawhi Leonard, that would suck if you pass on him, but my preference would be one of the guards. Fultz would be my top choice by far, and then it would be a tough choice between Ball and Smith. I think I'd lean toward Smith because the Heat need a guy that can score, but Ball's upside is huge, especially if he continues to hit his 3's with that ugly shot. Three guys I don't hear talked about as much, but should be IMO, are Malik Monk, Frank Ntilikina, and De'Aaron Fox. Monk is just a natural scorer, who at worst I think, will be Jamaal Crawford. Ntilikina doesn't get talked about at all because he's in Europe, but he might end up being the best of them all as he can score, defend, and distribute with excellent size for the position. With Fox, the question is his jumper, and he's been hitting it lately. But he's lightning fast with the basketball, athletic, and a high level defender. The good news is, you are probably getting a pretty good player. You'd just hate to pass on a guy that ends up being a star.
See I don't see Isaac as a bust at all. His production is stifled by Hamilton's system and he's had to defer to Bacon. He's a good FT shooter which typically bodes well and he appears to be a true stretch 4.
That's fair, but I think it's tough to feel that a guy with a lack of production is safe no matter the reason. The consensus around the scouting community (from what I've read) seems to be he could be the best player in this draft, or just a role player. Chad Ford has this in his about him from an NBA GM: With his size and shooting, he probably won't be out of the league quickly or anything, but in a draft this good, you'd hate to take him over some of the other guys if he simply becomes a role player.
Lebron would have to win at least 10 in a row before I put him in MJs league. MJ had it much more difficult with the rules being more lenient defensively.
I do. This teams atrocious. The Knicks problem isn't that they are a bad defensive team or have a bad defensive philosophy (though they that too...Rambos has to go)... Their problem is that they have awful defensive players particularly at PG and Center so you can't stop the ball or defend the rim. That's awful.
Didn't bother to watch the video but yeah Lebron had everything to do with Bosh's illness which led to our collapse. Get that garbage out of here. Anyone of you all see the Warriors game? Lebron flopping as usual. They need to invent the flop stat. Lebron would be averaging quadruple doubles
Bad Boy Pistons would had Lebron retiring due to his flops not getting any calls back in those days. I was in diapers when MJ played but I remember when my dad would watch those Bull games since he was a Chicago man. Player I remember from 94-95 was the guy with the rainbow hair which I found out was Rodman. Man just being a young child probably 4 years of age? I can remember some games. That says something. Lebron hasn't really had any games you can remember like MJ had. Only game that you can go crazy about was the elimination game against the Celtics when Lebron was with the Heat. I used to go around saying Lebron was better than MJ only due to him being on my team but that's no different than me saying Marino is the best quarterback ever even better than Tom Brady due to the rules alone. Put Marino in today's game of age and he would be having multiple rings. Brady's *** would had a short career due to the NFL not protecting the quarterbacks back in the days. Anyway, I just think that's how it is with Lebron. TLDR: Put Marino in todays age = multiple rings Put Brady is Marino's time = 0 rings Put MJ into Lebron's time = way more rings than now Put Lebron in MJ's time = Pals with Barkley(ring wise) That's how I see it and I understand for the Lebron lovers out there that think I'm being salty. Maybe it is or maybe I'm just seeing the clearer picture now that Lebron isn't on the Heat.
We're making Colin Cowherd some kind of authority now, LMAO. The same Colin Cowherd who today said the Chiefs should trade Travis Kelce, Eric Berry, and Dontari Poe to the Patriots for Jimmy Garoppolo? I fully realize this is Fin-O trying to troll, but this one's just a laughable attempt.
