    .....and the stupidity.

If you don't write off 15 years of success then you MUST be okay with cheating and have "no integrity". Special kind of snowflaking...

Honest question....how are you people separating the success from the cheating as if they are completely unrelated? Do you guys not understand the point of cheating?

It's actually kind of stupid at this point to harp on how long they've been winning as an argument AGAINST the effectiveness of their cheating. You guys are basically saying the Anti-Pats side is ignoring how fat Chris Christie is because they're harping on how much he eats.

The Pats have had all that success BECAUSE they cheated. I know that, because get this, they've been caught multiple times cheating during all that success.

I guarantee, if there was a poker player who won all the time but has been repeatedly caught cheating, none of you would play that guy for a significant amount of money because you'd assume he was cheating.

It's statistically impossible for a team to have as much sustained success as the patriots with as many different rosters and players without cheating. They aren't particularly good at drafting. They aren't particularly good in free agency. They are AMAZING at cheating. The degree to which they cheat would be disastrous to the NFL if the full scope was ever made public. That's why it is still a closely guarded secret by the league. If and when it ever becomes public knowledge it will be earth shattering and as much a risk to the NFL as concussions and other head trauma concerns.

LOL, was your account hacked? Why bump a 10 month "fake news" thread? Nobody here was complaining about Hogan back then or today. While most of us liked 7Eleven, he wasn't better than the receivers we had on our roster and still isn't.

what system is that? you think mcdaniels is some sort of genius? his system didn't succeed in Denver?

if your not willing to budge on the cheating then you have no room to keep an open mind about how good he is.

do you ever just watch him play?, the nuances?

Pat's defense decided to just start cheating the past 4 games...

    Nice of them.

I spent Thanksgiving with a bunch of people from Minnesota and Baltimore (and one from NYC). There were several Vikings fans there who apparently are as conditioned as Dolphin fans to expect their team to lose every game at the very end no matter how much they're ahead, several Ravens fans who I guess were the most subdued because their team wasn't playing, one Redskins fan who was hilarious trying to turn a 1 year old into a future Redskins fan lol.. "Redskins goooooood.. Giants baaaaaad".. repeated for hours throughout the game yesterday lol, one Bills fan from New York City lol who works for a company where the CEO says the only reason he's trying to make money is to buy the Jets haha.

Yeah we did talk about football, and down to a man (and woman) they all think Brady's the GOAT. So sure there are some people who don't want to give him credit, but I think most commentators and fans in the NFL think otherwise. Can't get everyone to agree! Anyway, I did convince them that the one thing that should change their minds on GOAT status is if Belichick coaches way beyond Brady's retirement and has the same success without Brady.

One thing we all had in common: everyone hated Dallas haha. It's amazing how important Elliott is to that team. Night and day from last year. One of the rare exceptions to the idea that RB's today aren't that important.

You're right. The Patriots don't have a system. It's just coincidence that players who leave NE don't seem to perform as well. Probably the only exception is Welker, but his averages are pretty much the same, regarding yards per catch, anywhere he played.

They have Brady and familiarity with the system..players come and players go, mostly average ones on offense..production stays the same with that guy at the helm

I don't really understand how you can separate the cheating from the sustained success with constantly rotating players, and the defense.

Regardless, players don't forget how to play when they leave NE, and I don't believe that Brady makes these players. Especially when we look at QB, like Cassel, or defensive players. And let's be honest, Brady's one record year was driven by Moss.

You can argue they don't play as well without the system. Or they don't play as well without Brady and BB, considered two of the best at their craft, ever. It's no wonder they don't play as well. The only coach I consider on the level of BB is Andy Reid. Did you see what happened to McNabb after leaving Reid.

The Patriots absolutely have a system, and not everyone fits it.

Clearly they don't play as well in systems that don't have systemic and pervasive cheating built in. Not sure why everyone glosses over this fact. It's not like the cheating is insignificant things.

    *Yawn.

Why do we play them so well sometimes, if they have the goods on us? Have they cheated, sure. They got caught videotaping when the entire league was told to stop. You guys seem to think Ernie Adams has some NSA level type surveillance going on that allows them to dominate these other teams.

So what evidence do you have right now that they are cheating to the level that allows them to obliterate records.

And why does the rest of the league just let it happen. All those people who have come and gone from that org and nobody's snitched on them since the videotape?

Right. So, we know they were systematically cheating for years, but will ignore that, proclaim them one of the greatest teams of all time, and argue that because we don't know if they're cheating today, that it absolves the past.

Again, if you knew a certain poker player systematically cheated in the past, would you play him today? Would you proclaim him one of the greatest poker players of all time?
