I truly think if they turn Reigns a heel he can be a big star for them, especially once the fans start to cheer him again. I just don't understand why they're being too stubborn to do it. He just seems like a perfect bad *** heel.

I think going to Smackdown would not only help him, but Dean Ambrose as well.

One thing for sure Raw is cluttered with monster type wrestlers. They need to balance it out to smackdown.

Between brock, braun, roman reigns, rusev and now samoa joe.. rusev is another guy that has been sort of shelved since he lost the us title belt.. you move him to smackdown and he might get more time..

Sometimes i wonder if theres any regret for the constant title changes between Triple H, Randy Orton, and cena..

For each to have over 12 title changes, i mean thats just overkill..

The main event was pretty good.. i thought the miz was awesome yesterday. He was just dominating and the crowd was loving it, and then Cena burries him in one move.

The camera angles during the main event was annoying as heck. The screen was flickering through different angles every second at one point... i understand its difficult to see through the chains but stick with one angle for a moment so we can see whats going on..

A little unpredictability setup by Kevin Owens on whats to come in Fastlane.. brock could interfere in the main event but so can Jericho against Owens, or maybe he attacks goldberg to make sure Owens is the champion for he can take the title away from him personally at wrestlemania

Just wached the festival of friendship and i absolutely love that Jericho brought back gillberg LOL

I hope this means Jericho drops the scarf, goes back to the lighted jacket entrance and is a face again.

The Kevin Owens/Jericho segment was tremendous. Really well done. I almost expected HHH to make an appearance and for Owens to align himself with him, and Samoa Joe, which would be pretty neat, if they went that route, too.

Having Balor and Rollins oppose HHH, while Owens and Joe stand by him, would make for great matches and television.

As it is, it is still pretty good, since we are getting Jericho/Owens, and Samoa Joe/Sami Zayn.

I thought the segment was great too. I'm almost a bit disappointed that the Jericho/Owens team is broken up just because it's been the best part of RAW since they got together.

That Friendship Festival was the best segment on RAW in a long long time. Kevin Owens is a master in flipping the switch and he is so detestable that he made Jericho a babyface instantly. Looking forward to their match at Mania even though it seems like Jericho is definitely going to cost Owens the title against Goldberg.

Still cant get over the fact gillberg was back and Goldberg's reaction on twitter made me feel like he was genuinely annoyed they brought him back.

The sad part of the segment is it seems like its the end of the road for Jericho's fulltime gig here. After His match with Kevin Owens, i think he will be going to hiatus until royal rumble 2018

Meltzer is reporting that Triple H is going to head a new heel stable with Joe, Owens and possibly a few others from NXT so it looks like you're going to get your wish Samphin. Meltzer feels the end game is probably a Owens/Joe feud followed by a Triple H/Joe program.

Meltzer has no knowledge of this, other than what we all saw on RAW. He is putting the pieces together, just like I did. But if it does come to fruition, I kind of like the idea of HHH being the manipulator of these guys from NXT. Bobby Roode would make a lot of sense to bring up for this stable, as well, if and when the time is right.

Unrelated, but Bruce Prichard's podcast, "Something To Wrestle With" is tremendous. Bruce is a little bit of a blow hard at times, but he has some tremendous stories and shares some of the WWE's original ideas before they were changed/altered/scrapped.

For example: The ORIGINAL idea for Wrestlemania VII was for Tugboat to turn on Hogan and be the Iraqi sympathizer known as "Sgt. Tugboat", and was to headline Wrestlemania against Hogan. But then Slaughter and McMahon were able to patch things up, bring him back in and he got the role instead of Fred Ottman. That story fascinates me due to how awful that original idea was.

He also revealed that Coliseum Video was NOT owned by Vince McMahon, but that Vince and the guy who did own it, had a production company called H&H Video, which was adult films, primarily. They produced such classics like "Coming On America" with Heather Hunter, who coincidentally, was a guest on The Bobby Heenan Show.

He also has great stories about his time in TNA, how Andre The Giant would have to poop while in hotels, and all kinds of things about the stars we grew up watching (Mr. Perfect, Rick Rude, Ted Dibiase, etc.)

Apparently The Rock will bury someone 15 minutes before Raw begins. And then hes shootingn a movie in front of the fans at Staples after Raw.

By the way has Paige acknowledged the fact that The Rock is making a movie based off her life? I cant see it anywhere.

It's more about her family, and less about her own personal life. Although, I imagine she will be a focal point for obvious reasons.

I wonder if Vince is going to keep The Rock off Wrestlemania after the stunt he pulled last night with CM Punk.

I dont get whats his problem with CM Punk, if you can patch things up with Goldberg, you can patch it up with CM Punk.. Goldberg left with ten million of your dollars...

Its time to remove the fork out of your *** and give the fans what they want.. CM Punk with this current roster would be huge.. especially if hes part of the the squad that will be going against Triple H's new heel alliance.

There is currently a lawsuit going on between CM Punk and medical people that still work with/for the WWE. That lawsuit won't have its day in court until summer of 2018. Unless a settlement is reached prior to that, you won't see Punk anywhere near a WWE product.

Furthermore, it takes tow to tango and Punk doesn't seem terribly interested in coming back anytime soon.

FURTHER furthermore...your Goldberg analogy took 11 years to resolve, essentially. Punk's issues basically happened yesterday, given that timeline.

If The Rock wants to be at WM then he'll be at WM, a comment about CM Punk that was done off live cameras wouldn't change that.

Sam have you heard the rumor that Punk and Colt aren't friends anymore? Apparently Colt went to a WWE live event awhile ago and hung out backstage and Punk took that personally and cut him off. They apparently unfollowed each other on social media and haven't mentioned each other since. It would certainly fit with Punk's MO of cutting people out of his life fairly easily.

Also don't forget Punk made a lot of money for that 1 UFC fight and being under contract with them for the last few years, also has deals with Marvel etc. He apparently lives a simple life so has plenty of money saved up where he doesn't need the WWE as a cash cow like most.

I find it a little funny though that The Rock's idea for his movie after Raw pretty much flopped.. he was begging the fans to stay at their seats for he can record the movie.. and the fans were clearing out, and then he got desperate asked what they want and he takes out his phone and tries to get Punk on so that the fans wont leave...

I mean really... just CGI some fans in..

I heard the same thing about Cabana/Punk. I believe there was also an issue about Colt asking Punk to cover some of the legal fees since Colt doesn't have the money Punk does, and is really only involved because Punk went on his tirade while on Cabana's show. Punk refused and found it disrespectful, and I think Colt decided to contact The WWE and see if there was a way to settle his portion out. At that point, Punk pretty much cut Cabana out, completely. My guess is there is some partial truth to it.

It is asking a LOT for fans to stay even longer. When on the West Coast, the show starts at 4:30 P.M. and goes until about 8:30 P.M. Asking them to stay even longer (especially the families) is a tough sell.

I heard that the fans wouldn't stop chanting "CM Punk" when fake Aj Lee came out/was about to come out....so to shut them the **** up he called CM Punk....which worked.

He did the same thing when those guys were dressed like the originals in the crowd, and went and let them speak, so it would stop being a distraction. Unlike Vince, he doesn't ignore the fans (Roman) and is the true peoples champ!

Also I am absolutely loving smackdown. Luke Harper being pushed to the main event scene is brilliant, and im excited to see he vs Aj next week.

Also, kudos to WWE for pushing Corbin/Strowman PERFECTLY.....two future monsters are strong and here to stay. Well done on both.

Matt and Jeff Hardy's contracts expire this week from TNA, they haven't resigned yet. Going to be free agents at the perfect time. Drew Galloway is also a free agent now too. Smackdown could really use some help.

WWE is using some real good foreshadowing Kevin Owens/ Goldberg. Last Kevin Owens said "I know how to play the GAME better than anyone else" and tonight,"You Bill Goldberg are next, in the EVOLUTION of Kevin Owens, as Universal Champion" Pretty much makes me think at Fastline, its all but confirmed, that HHH, will get involved some how to cost Goldberg the title.

I started listening to the Prichard podcast, thanks for the recommendation. I agree with you it is tremendous. Heard the Luger and Warrior ones already. Really good stuff. At times I feel like Prichard is full of it, you can say that about anyone in the wrestling business, and I really like how Conrad has no issues calling him out on that stuff.

I will also recommend the X-Pac and Eric Bischoff ones.

Tony Schiavone's new one is ok, as well, although I wasn't much of an NWA/Crockett era fan as I was Turner/WCW, so some of his stories and timelines aren't as interesting to me as Prichard's (I was a WWF kid growing up). He also wasn't really on the booking committee at any time, so his recall of events backstage isn't nearly as robust as Bruce's, but has DOES have some good stories, and I tend to believe Tony more than Bruce, for whatever reason. One example is that the famous Vader/Orndorff fight happened right in front of Schiavone, so he gives us the real skinny as to what happened, and who else was around.

It's worth a listen, if only for the shows about the Nitro era.
