At this point, with the Timmons signing and the depth added at DE. I would rather see them take Dan Feeney or the kid from WKU in the first round. I think there are droves of quality Lbs in the draft this year and we could grab one in the second.

Even with the timmons signing, LB is still arguably our biggest need. Feeney is overrated in my opinion. Definitely not a first round pick. Only guard I would take in the first is lamp.

Lamp is definitely the better option. (Couldn't remember his name.) However, if he is gone Feeney is the next best option, and I don't think he falls to us in the second. I'm cool with linebacker in the first of that is the route the FO takes, not in love with Cunningham though. Would rather get Reddick or Davis.

I agree on Reddick would take him over cunningham but I don't think he will be there at 22. Jarrad Davis is not better than zach in my opinion except in coverage but he is undersized and injury prone.

I would say a starting S is the biggest need.

Zach won't make it to 22, BDPA will probably be CB.

I hope he does, he didn't really blow up the combine so its possible. I've seen alot of mocks projecting him late first early second.

Barry Jackson notes that Jabrill Peppers might be a 1st round option, and I definitely agree with that. I also would love Forrest Lamp. Maybe CB is an option depending who falls.

The problem with peppers is he is a strong safety who doesn't have great coverage skills to play free safety. We already have an all pro reshad jones in that position with a brand new contract. What we need is a free safety who can play high. At 22 there is nobody worth taking in my opinion except maybe Obi Melifonwu or budda baker in the second.

Forrest Lamp, Njoku or Watt. We could get better at Lb or S, need G but they've done a good job of putting us in the position to do BPA.

The thing is, the defense is in Nickel or Dime about 65% of the time? Our Nickel CB will see more time than the other OLB that comes off the field most of the time. In other words, I'm worried about how good our top TWO LBs are, and can live with average for the third guy.

Yeah, injuries would expose our lack of depth, but that is true in most every position on this team. I want to see them focused on getting a decent set of starters on BOTH sides of the ball THEN build as much depth as you can.

For the record, I'd like to see them (at the moment anyway) get that Taco guy at #22. Or maybe a Guard if that is still an issue at draft time.

Taco charlton is very overrated. I was initially high on him because he looks like a prototypical wide nine type de with his length, size and athleticism. However after watching enough tape on him I realized he is nothing special. He won't be more than a quality backup who can stuff the run in the nfl not worth a first round pick imo.

I'm curious what you see in Cunningham. I watched the tape on him, and I simply do not see a first round talent in him. If you have any film on him in which he looks like a future NFL starter, send her my way.

I wouldn't worry about Zach, he'll be gone before we pick.

I like Lamp, I think the is a solid first round pick that will start on day one and one you don't have to worry about once you make the pick. All the other guys there seem to be questions about. Many here are big on Cunningham. I am soso on him, but will go with what the others are thinking. He does seem to play fast and be around the ball often.

I see a top 20 player on film..young ray lewis..Dominated the sec on a bad defense..

n.s.e.w movement player, can stack, shed with eyes on the ball..beautifully keeps traffic away from his feet, can run sideline to sideline and has incredible counter athleticism and quickness.

He looked fluid in the drills as well. He also looked incredibly slight without pads on, like.. worrisome skinny.

    I don't watch film or much of an expert on anything but strictly from what i've read;
1st: Takkarist McKinley / Zach Cunningham
2nd: Desmond King / Dion Dawkins
3rd: Jake Butt / Kevin King

Zach Cunningham has a lot of good traits, he diagnoses well, is a very good pass defender, it seems to me that he has the ability to recognize patterns and react. He is awkward when he tackles though. Reminds me of Maxwell in the tackling technique and that's worrisome. He needs to add weight too but the way he tackles is the most scary trait in his game.
What do you guys think of taking Raekwon with the 2nd rounder and put him at mike with Timmons sam and Alonso will (Timmons and Alonso in the nickel package)

I like reakwon in the second. He is a good mike, zach would be better though since he has more range and is better in coverage. We need as many good coverage linebackers as we can get TEs have been killing us for years because our LBs cant cover.

G is still our biggest need. We can't continue to let tannehill take the pounding he takes. Plus if we field a good OL, Ajayi will run wild, which will open up our passing game. Better offense, better running game, longer drives equals more rest for our defense.

To everyone telling me about Cunningham's traits, can you please just send me a link to actual film where he exhibits these traits. Saying someone has good traits really has nothing to do with them actually having good traits. Please show me some film and tell me where you see the traits.
