Field Yates of ESPN.com reports that Damien Williams has also been in New England along with Mike Gillislee. Williams and Gillislee were once teammates with the Dolphins and Williams remained in Miami after Gillislee moved on to Buffalo. Williams has run 87 times for 296 yards and caught 65 passes for 578 yards over 47 games for the Dolphins over the last three seasons. He has also played a significant role on special teams over the course of his career. Like Gillislee, Williams was tendered at the original round level. Williams was undrafted, however, and wouldn’t cost the Patriots a draft pick in compensation if he signed and the Dolphins opted not to match. They would have to send a fifth-round pick to Buffalo if they added Gillislee.
Both are solid players and they should be on a roster somewhere. However, I hope that we hang onto Williams.
Make sense they would draft Mixon they had a cold blooded killer on there team why not a woman beater?
They could add a child abuser for the trifecta. All time D-bag team! Not like they would care, once you've sold your soul...
I don't have a point. I was having a laugh because of the previous conversation re: gillislee and Ajayi. Do you know Ajayi was ranked top 3-5 for being stuffed for no gain or losses last year? Or something like that. Ajayi is great but he can use great improvement there. He has real high highs, and pretty low low's. He didn't have a good stretch towards the end. And it's not like Gillislee threw one pass like Baldwin, Dez Bryant etc. He ran the ball 100 times. Not a full load, about half. EDIT: Got my carries mixed up.
Lol, 2 posts (not too mention your argument from the other thread) and one of which has all these numbers you clearly researched and did the math on very clearly means you "don't have a point"...sure thing. You got problems with thill and ajayi. Whose next Suh? Wake? Gase?
It's half a second to do a search (which I did too hastily) since I edited it. I have no problems with Ajayi. I like Ajayi. But the volatility on Ajayi is something to keep an eye on. Remember he had limited carries his first year but came out the gate at 8.0 ypc and then ended the year less than 4 overall. This year he has 3 monster games, a good one against the Jets, but then a bunch of 2s and 3s to end the year. You can't look at that and be happy. SF, AZ, NYJ2, and NE were stinkers. It's inevitable to have stinkers through the year, but to have them all in a row like at the end of the year, is tough.
Yeah, nothing else was going on, he just sucked for awhile.... There's this amazing compartmentalized world some people live in, where nothing connects to anything else and everything is its own microcosm locked in its own room independent of anything else.
Not sure which game it was at this point but he did injure his shoulder at the end of the year. And again at the Pro Bowl. Haven't seen any reporting on it but it was obvious on the field. I think it was the Jester game.
