I've been playing with this off and on for a while now. You get some interesting outcomes sometimes. Like this one for example. Lamp went 3 picks before my R2 pick. Which I thought was... odd. No way he lasts that long. Same with Baker. This was done using the CBS big board, and NFL mock needs. 22: R1P22 EDGE HAASON REDDICK TEMPLE 54: R2P22 S BUDDA BAKER WASHINGTON 97: R3P33 C ETHAN POCIC LSU 166: R5P22 TE JEREMY SPRINKLE ARKANSAS 178: R5P34 G JERMAINE ELUEMUNOR TEXAS A&M 184: R5P40 CB CHANNING STRIBLING MICHIGAN 223: R7P5 LB TANNER VALLEJO BOISE STATE
I think most mocks have lamp going late first/ early second round. You have a good draft though, IMO.

man i hooked on this...even looking up who the FO has brought in for interviews while i draft. I'm getting somewhat familiar with the late rounds players now, well at least the names
Since yesterdays CBS board update I've been able to get Peppers with the 22nd 100% of the time. I really hope that happens come the 27th.

They updated their composite finally, which I enjoy (less bias than from individual sites I think). I too seem to get Peppers a fair amount, which I would be happy with. Lamp is available a decent amount, but not consistently. Top safeties consistently gone by 54 - the best at that point is generally Marcus Maye who I see as OK, but more of a late second or third round guy. Feeney is available for us at 54 a fair bit which would be an ok value.

I love firstpick.com. Very unrealistic. I highly doubt the Falcons would trade their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for Miami's 1st. Round 1 Pick 31 (ATL): Obi Melifonwu, SS, Connecticut (B) Round 2 Pick 22: Jordan Willis, DE, Kansas State (A-) Round 2 Pick 31 (ATL): Adam Shaheen, TE, Ashland (A+) Round 3 Pick 31 (ATL): Danny Isidora, OG, Miami (Fla.) (A-) Round 3 Pick 33 (COMP): Sidney Jones, CB, Washington (A) Round 5 Pick 22: Sam Tevi, OT, Utah (B-) Round 5 Pick 34 (COMP): Ryan Switzer, WR, North Carolina (A) Round 5 Pick 40 (COMP): Jeremiah Ledbetter, DT, Arkansas (B-) Round 7 Pick 5: Samson Ebukam, OLB, Eastern Washington (B)
Who did it have them trading up for? I think if see some QB action early, but have 1-2 prospects (say Kizer and Mahomes) drop to us, we might get some calls from teams like the Texans, Chiefs, Steelers and Saints jockeying to get ahead of each other. Not sure we would get away with second and thirds, but I would definitely explore that type of trade. Would like an earlier third, and a fourth to start with.

Wait, did you actually get those results? Who's big board were you using? The only realistic outcome here is Haskins at No. 13, but only due to recent reports that he's likely to slide on draft day. Rashan Gary, Erik McCoy, Johnathan Abram, and Ross Pierschbacher in consecutive rounds is just silly. Gary is a lock for top-25, McCoy has a shot to be the first center off the board, Abram's stock has blown up and he's expected to go on opening night, and Pierschbacher is widely regarded as a 2nd-3rd round prospect. Would be the greatest draft of NFL history if it somehow played out like this.
I know right? I used the most up to date big board but you can see how shocked I was to see all of these top prospects available in later rounds. Can you imagine if we were to come close to such results?
I think Grier would be hailed as some sort of prophet if something like that came off come the draft. I think you could also expect multiple job offers for predicting it. I'm currently doing a mock draft with my friends where we all control 4 teams and everyone's boards have been destroyed at number one with the Cardinals trading out of the #1 slot for Oakland to move in after offering #4, #24, #27, #35. Update on the Dolphins on this mock. So far the deals we've made. #13 to Washington for #15 and #46 #15 to New York Giants for #17 and #37 #17 to Pittsburgh Steelers for #20 and #52 #20 to Arizona Cardinals for #24 and #35 Basically I've slid from #13 to #24 but I've picked up 4 extra 2nd round picks including 2 in the top 5. Sadly this has a 0% chance of happening in real life, but imagine if something like this was possible.
