You think Russ is regretting signing that extension right about now? No one else on this team can do anything, and I don't see them signing anyone of consequence anytime soon in that market.

And Roberson may get 14-16M per if you think he's as good as Demarre Carroll 2 years ago

How good do you think this heat team is with Westbrook instead of dragic?

I love Dragic, but they'd be championship contenders with Russ. The guy is ridiculous. It's pretty crazy to think that Riley reportedly wanted to draft him instead of Beasley, and at the time I was freaking out that Riley would possibly do something so stupid. I'm not sure they would have kept him AND gotten the big 3, but it's fun to think about what could have been.

Rockets fan isn't here talking up Harden after the gentlemans sweep, I think he may be recovering from all the dollar hot dogs and beer.

Nah, I'm here (though I did get wasted yesterday). I've just been too busy today laughing at all the people making excuses for Westbrook and the Thunder. That team has plenty of talent...blame the MVP for shooting 15-52 in the 4th quarters (29%). I feel sorry for his teammates. The media killed the Bad Boy Pistons for walking off without shaking hands...I didn't hear anyone say a thing when their MVP did the same thing last night.

Also, ESPN should be ashamed of themselves for letting go of Rockets' beat writer, Calvin Watkins today. That's b.s.

Once again, I would just like to thank Magic Johnson for Lou Williams.

I really hope y'all face SA. That might be the first series I actually watch. That would be good basketball.

I have to start keeping up with The Players Tribune. They've just uploaded excellent articles written by Eric Gordon (how James Harden called him 50 times trying to recruit him) and Trevor Ariza (how James Harden is the true MVP). They both talk about how they love Dantoni as a coach. The guy has been outstanding. Coach of the Year is not up for discussion. Good stuff.

Yeah, I'm ready for that series also. My prediction of the OKC sweep was almost right. I would have the Rockets beating Spurs in 6.

Hate seeing Wade close his career like this. Hes having a terrible series and hes capping it off with one of the most inefficient games hes ever had his entire career. Possibly the worst game ever. Just hang it up dude..

I can only imagine what Riley would've said about LeBron if it not for a friend stopping him....good thing because ya know that "slavemaster" Dan Gilbert is the only guy who would react in such a classless way.

With the Clippers getting knocked out in round 1 it will be very interesting to see what happens with that team this offseason. Finally people are starting to realize how overrated Doc Rivers is. I wonder if they'll blow the team up. Will Blake stay? Paul you would assume will, but maybe not.

Little late on this round, but..

    Cavs in 5
    Wizards in 7
    GS Milks in 4
    SA in 6

Can we just get on with the finals already??

Where's Sec been? Love to know the Heat's offseason plans and which FAs they'll be chasing. Could be a lot of movement this offseason.

No, I definitely wouldn't either. But imagine that team AND Russ. Not sure it would have happened that way, but it could have.

It would have been Russ instead of Beasley (who was traded by then), but in the starting lineup, yeah.

I know, you can also see hurt in a fan base for the year before when Portland took Oden over Durant.

Lowry opting out. Pretty sure Serge Ibaka isnt going to sign with toronto either. That team's treadmill is crumbling down

For Lowry there's a pretty clear path to winning IMO. Let's say for arguments sake that the Spurs lose to the Rockets or GSW. Either option is highly conceivable since they're in a 2-2 series ties right now. If the Spurs feel Dejounte Murray isn't ready for prime time yet or may never be that type of player and Patty Mills opts out (It's hard to imagine he won't) guess who has enough cap space to sign Lowry for 20M plus? Lowry-Leonard-LMA would be deadly especially with Pop resting Lowry once every week or two. Keep in mind Lowry is a very Spurs type of player...great defender (Along with Beverly he's one of the top 2 at that position), unselfish, good shooter, fearless, doesn't need to score 20 or 30 points to be effective. That's just my guess as to where he ends up if the Spurs feel they need an upgrade to Parker or if Parker is relegated to a backup role a la Manu Ginobli.

I knew he was done as soon as it happened. It sucks. Ryan Anderson says he will be coming off the bench now as backup Center. Ariza to PF. Eric Gordon now starts. Sam Dekker is gonna have to step up. We need that 8th guy. We were already bad at rebounding. We just got worse.

    Bummer, that sucks.

If the spurs are smart, and we know they are, they feed LMA and Pau relentlessly down low. Isolate Kawhi and Mills on drives and try and create fouls. Get in to the Rockets bench.

Rockets are going to have to try and push tempo even more now and even more reliant on 3's.

Yep. That pretty much sums it up. Dantoni said the same thing during post game. I am shocked the Spurs haven't been pounding it in to LMA...Harden has been guarding him 70% of the time, lol. Harden mentioned it last night. This is why they are getting so many offensive rebounds. Now that Eric Gordon will start, he can take Kawhi and Ariza can take LMA. We'll see though.
