http://www.kikoalonso47.com/2017/05/09/where-i-belong/ interested to see how his game looks outside..hoping theres upside there.
Well, Kiko was practically the entire LB corp last season and the only one sniffing out plays. So if he's healthy and the acquisitions pay off, he should look A LOT BETTER than he did last season. And he already looked pretty darn good in the first place.
It really makes me happy seeing players positively commenting on our coaches of their own volition. In the Philbin and Sparano eras you really got the sense that the players were just giving boilerplate, standard NFL 101 type praise for the staff. The number of times I keep hearing players praising our coaches without being prompted makes me feel there is a genuine deep respect for Gase and the rest of the coaching staff.
Well...that was a really nice interview. Kind of a French Foreign Legion feel to it. "You joined the legion to die, we will send you where you can die." Hoo flippin AAH!!!
IMO Kiko is a great fit here. I'm not going to argue he's a perfect LB. There are strengths and weaknesses to his game. But for me he just feels like a Dolphin. He seems to fit the personality of the team and the city. It feels like he's one of those guys who should retire as a Dolphin and probably become a local darling beyond what his talent provides.
So you're saying he ate Zach? I thought the guy was hungry but damn that's a bit of a tough thing to swallow.
I legitimately don't see similarities between Kiko and Zach. Kiko is a kinetic and athletic barely controlled bucket of minnows when he plays...darting everywhere. Zach, on the other hand, is what happens when a blacksmith eats a lumberjack, removes his own neck, studies football and becomes valedictorian on his way to earning a Masters in the linebacking arts. It's why I'm excited by the Prodigy (Raekwon), I feel like he has Zach's head and Ray Lewis' body.
