Watch that video- our new defensive coordinator went hiking with gorillas in Uganda this off-season? And climbed Kilimanjaro last off-season? Sounds like a certified badass.
If Matt Burke was tackling gorillas while hiking in Uganda, then yes, a DEFINITE bad ***!!! He should have taken the entire defense with him and had them tackling gorillas LMAO!! In all seriousness, It's great that Tannehill has the confidence in the offense this upcoming season as does Gase. Unless a sopohomore slump hits our head coach, I see a great season...provided we survive this first 5 game stretch. Defensively, Matt Burke is going to be the wildcard. It's no secret I thought Vance Joseph sucked and was completely overrated...and I truly believe everyone is going to see how overrated he is in Denver this year. If Matt Burke can pull this defense together this season and play dominantly, teams are going to see the Dolphins on their schedule and be as nervous as two hookers in church on Sunday.
I think Vance had one foot out the door to start with. Gase made a mistake hiring him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
so on that first video, Landry scores exactly like Brown. it's not like Brown ran deep down the sideline for a bomb
I wouldn't bang too hard on Joseph. He held that D together with bubble gum and bailing wire after the worst rash of injuries on 1 side of the ball I can remember. When Gase brought him in he knew that Joseph would not be around long. Burke was the heir apparent the whole time.
you nailed it though. Have you seen a team so plagued with injuries like last year? It makes you think if we are healthy in a decent way, what we can do.
