    so what is the rule on IR? Isn't there an IR when he come back?

    Why would you want him to come back? A rookie with no training camp or preseason joining the team week 9 isn't going to help.

    There doesn't seem to be any point to that, keep him on IR and protect his roster spot and see what he has next year, because if we kept him and the WR's were healthy, we'd then have to cut him or expose him on the practice squad.

    Receiver is one of the few places on the roster where we could actually handle a couple of injuries and still be ok.

    I disagree. Until 2 guys prove me wrong, if Jarvis and Stills are your only healthy WRs, we are screwed
