Cutler if he still wants to play. Already is familiar with the terminology. To be honest though, he'd have to prove he's better than Matt Moore at this point, who is much further along and acclimated.
The crappy thing is, Tannehill didn't even come back out on the field. That, and we most likely won't get an update on his status til way later today or even tomorrow.
I think no matter what , this is wake up call to upgrade the 3rd qb, because of the tenuous situation with RT. That 3rd qb could become the backup sometime during the year. You have to be realistic, that RT may have issues through the year.

Hoping it's just a scare with Tanny but Cutler would be my first choice to sign. He had his best year with Gase.

Moore's stats from his games last year 2016 63.2% 721 yards 8 TDs 3 INTs 105.6 Rating Pretty damn good.
I have faith in Moore to keep us competitive week-in and week-out, but I don't have faith in him carrying us on a playoff run.

Earlier this year there was an article saying Tannehill still had a tear in one of his ligaments, but that it was OK to play through... Since then, I've been nervous that something like this was going to happen. I wish he had just gone under the knife to get it fully repaired, even if it cost him a few games. It's not going to shock me when he's out for the season. If the worst fears come true, I'm absolutely calling up Jay Cutler. I never really understood the hatred he's been given by fans tbh. He's not an all-time great by any means, but he does have talent. I want nothing to do with Colin Kaepernick. Like RGIII, he took advantage of the NFL's inability to stop duel threat QB's and the read option offense. Once defenses caught up, he was exposed as just another QB who couldn't read NFL defenses.
Definitely praying for his long term health. Was looking forward to this season too. Very unfortunate.
mat Moore is a short term fix. he can hold it down based on the schedule we have to start. Miami has to think of the Big 3 as a replacement soon after
