This is why lately I dread coming to this forum, seems like every ****ing time I do I see a new injury. This sucks.
"Welcome to the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad August for the Miami Dolphins. And, add another apparent injury to the list... ...Drake appears to have sustained a clear head injury and likely will be in the concussion protocol. Hopefully, it is nothing that will keep him sidelined for a lengthy period, and something that he can recover from fully. And, the Dolphins’ no-good August continues."
I don't know a damn thing about Tory McTyer, so I assume he's camp fodder, what the hell is he doing delivering a head shot on a guy who's clearly going to be on the active roster, and playing a big role in Drake? I get it, its still his job to go out and impress and hopefully earn a roster spot, or a shot somewhere else, but where's the common sense here? Maybe it was a fluke thing on the hit, sure, but it's still odd.
What's that 4 starters down and we're not even two weeks into the preseason!! Looks like we're going to have an awfully long year!!
That's a ****ty excuse. Come day one when you have no starters and use that as an excuse we will remind you. There should be zero helmet to helmets in practice guys! Come on save that **** for the opposing teams!!
If this is a concussion, then like Ajayi, Drake will probably be ready for the season opener. So it's really 2 starters down. Bad injury yeah, but maybe not yet worth freaking out over.
I'm sure he'll be OK. However, they need to start reprimanding guys if they hit guys in the head while tackling.
"Jacoby Brissett threw a pair of hospital passes in a row. The first one was leading Brandon Cooks right into Jonathan Freeny, which would have been an ugly collision if both players were going full speed. The second pass was low and Cody Hollister slammed his head and shoulder into the turf going for the ball. He did not return to practice and was in considerable pain after the play." "Cody Hollister left and did not return after landing hard on his left shoulder and head. Trainers quickly put him under concussion protocol and then took him off the field. Could be a case where the Patriots waive him with an injury designation in the future." (https://www.patspulpit.com/2017/7/28/16059504/patriots-2017-training-camp-day-2-observation)
Because they likely don't report them. Just look at Brady from last year. Wasn't his quote at the start of training camp about the concussion that his wife said he had last year something along the lines of.. It's nobody's business but mine if I had a concussion or not...
