I agree. I didn't want him back. Would rather start Hull. I agree that we need someone, just not him.

We have Howard, Maxwell, McCain, Tankersley and Verner at CB, so we're fine there. Rashad Jones is an All Pro at S, and once Nate Allen is healthy, he should be a good starter. TJ McDonald will be available the second half of the season.

Besides Rashad Jones, DBs are pretty thin forget rookies christ even Madison and Surtain took a year to get good. Tough position to just come in and be successful. Our secondary has been getting beaten for years...
Not sure were fine even without one injury..TJ second half great so lets just forget the first half. We need more and better, JMO..

Hull and Allen and rest IMO good ,,,,,,,,,back ups. Not starters...Don't think it will get done but we need another solid and experienced DB and LB...to go along with the DL which should be pretty darn good...

If he's only a backup level to Hull, we don't need him...We need a kick *** guy who also has cover ability...we got the backups
Damn our def. 3rd downs are pathetic...

    Much agreed.

Sheppard is bad, REALLY bad. Like I said before, I think we should see what happens after teams make their final round of cuts and who's out there.

Yep I already am very familiar with that pattern..

Just like the surprise every once and awhile of someone of quality breaks free and we do decide to snag, making us immediately better and giving us the ability to actually fill another need in the draft. Its not like there aren't a few holes that need filling or upgrading at a minimum...

Like B.G. said, Maybe when the big cut happens we have an opportunity to upgrade more.. and atleast we picked up Timmons hopefully one less to think about

But find it head scratching that lets see ????

    Available LBr:

    Junior Sylvestre

    Perry Riley..............

Hmmm which one to take hmmmm
you have to think about it ? ....

He is more than just a backup. He has been a starter throughout most of his career. I'd guess we only sign him if we are not content with Hull as the starting Mike.

    Mr McClean,

    You again lol.......

This time I understood and was explaining that we are not looking for a backup especially for Hull. Riley is the top LB out there and is a genuine starter and a good one at that. Actually rather had him than Maualuga. Something must have complicated that potential signing like him not wanting to be here or to much doe....or the def. coach hard on for Rey....
