Not sure Fede sticks maybe one of the UDFAs or Nick Williams or Okoye to play inside. McTyer rather than Smith maybe. After Alonso/Timmons/Hull/Hewitt/Maualuga I'm not sure - Allen looked good in parts and awful on others. Probably be ST ability and hope they never have to fill-in for those five. Young did himself no favours but maybe we hope Davis or Smith stay on the PS.
Been working on mine for a while now. Still torn on the Drew Morgan/Demore'ea Stringfellow battle, but I think Morgan will edge out Stringfellow due to his special teams and kick-return abilities. Not to mention, Morgan is a great locker-room character, whereas Stringfellow could be a risk in terms of his maturity. I also don't think Rey Maualuga is going to make the final roster. If Lawrence Timmons moves to MIKE, Maualuga will be competing with Mike Hull for a depth position. Maualuga is disadvantaged in this battle, both physically and mentally. Hull is entering his 2nd year in the system and is eager for his shot; Maualuga is coming off the street in a 30-year old body with little-to-no understanding of the defense. I would be surprised if he makes it. If Morgan beats out Stringfellow I'll be worried about this coaching staffs ability to scout WR's. Especially after the Caroo bust
"Hull is entering his 2nd year in the system and is eager for his shot; Maualuga is coming off the street in a 30-year old body with little-to-no understanding of the defense." Not sure the little to no understanding of the defense part is accurate. Maualuga played a couple years in the same defense with the Bengals. So mentally he should be there, physically it sounds like not.
