Lol... While it's true that the Pats cheating helps everyone, he's a tremendous athlete with a huge heart. The dude can play. And I hate him. However, I can't say I'm glad he's hurt. Just on a human level wishing injury on someone who has done nothing to me just feels wrong.
Those who are saying he's overrated and it won't matter to the Pats seem to forget that he has the most targets 3 out of the last 4 years for the Pats. I don't think Brady thinks he's underrated.
Remember when the Dolphins got caught cheating and lost a draft pic for tampering with Shula? Pepperage Farms remembers. You guys are super classy this year. Cheering injuries and all. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
It's almost September, have you given up hope yet or are you waiting until October, as usual? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
Come on brother! You really want to get into the "who has been cheating" argument? lol Tampering with a coach/player by talking to them is breaking a rule, but I wouldn't call it cheating per se. However, the Pats tampered to get BB, remember? Anyways, sorry about Edelman dude. Not all Dolphins fans cheer injuries from other teams. And you can see that some of us have called out those who are.
I am just busting balls of the folks that only show up at the beginning of the season and then disappear halfway through. I don't really care about the Shula thing, or the videotaping, or deflating balls or the Broncos paying Elway under the table to avoid salary caps, but it's alot of fun to poke the people who do. I just like to watch football and then go about my life until the next Sunday.
And Welker was very solid here, that is why some fans were upset to lose him. He was a very talented WR
It is true that some of us saw the potential in Welker, but he was not really even "solid" in Miami as a WR. He was very good on ST's. I blame that on the coaching, but in 2004 he played in 14 games for the Dolphins and caught 0 passes. He had 434 and 687 yards in the 2 seasons he played full time for the Dolphins and had 1 receiving TD.
Trading welker when we did was just one of the long list of moves by incompetent gms in the league. The GM position for the Most part is a joke in the NFL..there are a few that are proven and are good.
I agree. However, I doubt he would have panned out even if he stayed. The team and FO was in shambles back then.
Edelman is the product of a system (of cheating). With him gone, Chris Hogan becomes Edelman. There will be no discernible difference, unless Ammendola is the guy that replaces him. And for anyone *****ing that it's classless to cheer for Patriots injuries, get over it. By cheating their way to invincibility they have ruined the NFL for everyone except Patriots fans. Sure, call me crazy. The truth will come out eventually.
I'm not happy he's hurt. I am happy that the Patriots will be without him this year. Maybe Adriana Lima can make his year off worthwhile.
I'm one of the first to call them out for cheating and I will never consider their "dynasty" legit. However, in the end it's still a game and I don't wish injury upon anyone for cheating at football. Saying that, I hate them all... lol
Absolutely he led our team in receptions, he was at the time a young arrow up player. There is a reason he had a second round tender and the Pats wanted him so badly
