Its frustrating that we're in May, and still don't know whether Agents of Shield has been renewed or not. This second half of the season has been fantastic.
I've liked the whole season a lot. Just wasn't a fan of the Ghost Rider aspect in the autumn. I'm encouraged that none of the main cast has jumped ship and taken roles elsewhere (at least openly), which is often a sign that a show won't be coming back.
I loved the Ghost Rider aspect. It surprised me that they can get the character down so well. It was something I dreamed of when they mentioned they were making Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Maybe if they can come back next year they can bring Blade in the mix. I would love to see Mac get his mind around vampires. I first went into this final part very indifferent, yet they found a way for me to care about a completely made up world. I thought it was going to get stupid, I was wrong. Still need to watch the latest episode, planning on doing that after work.
Spoiler: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Spoilers For a lot of my life I always wondered what my life would be like if my parents never got divorced and my mom didn't abandon me. Such a big part of my life. I could not imagine that all those years of pain and social anxiety I went through was the only thing keeping me from becoming a modern day Hitler.
Me too. Now they have two episodes left this season (maybe forever) to wrap a ton of things up Spoiler: Mild Spoiler Especially because Mac's daughter reminds me so much of my own. Hit me hard every time they were on screen together, because it was obvious where its been heading..
The movie was hilarious. I think the first one was better, but Vol. 2 had some really outstanding highs in it. Lots little details and easter eggs in the film too for those with a keen eye and some comic book knowledge.
I just saw Guardians of the galaxy 2 it is very good. Mostly because my favorite actor Sly Stallone is in it.
https://news.marvel.com/tv/65079/marvels-agents-s-h-e-l-d-renewed-season-5/ Great news! Agents of Shield renewed for season 5!
Yeah, saw it yesterday. Definitely enjoyed it (seeing it in IMAX always helps IMO). Fun movie, still has some good humor. It didn't match the first movie, but I doubt anyone expected it to. probably the only disappointment for me is that the soundtrack fell far short of the soundtrack from 1st movie.
Just saw last week's episode, and it was terrific. Excited to see how the season concludes in a few days. Also going to see Guardians 2 tomorrow.
Really enjoyed Guardians Vol 2. Not a 10/10 like the first one, but that rarely happens. Hard to live up to a movie thats now among my favorites of all time, but it was really solid and totally felt like it belonged. I credit that to proper planning, the same writer/director and most of the same cast. It was great to get a better backstory not only for Peter, but also for many of the other characters as well. Like the first one, its able to mix action, juvenile humor and heart in a very unique and special way.
Tom Hardy will play VENOM. Let me repeat that...... Tom Hardy will play VENOM!!!!!!!!! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry...upervillain-venom_us_591f38a6e4b094cdba53ed7e It is due out October 5, 2018 and it will be directed by the same guy that did Zombieland. This is ****ing incredible.
I don't understand the whole Sony/Marvel deal. Is Sony setting up their own Spiderverse alongside the MCU? Can Marvel us the other Spidey villains in MCU movies? And also, what the hell is a Venom movie going to be about without Spider-Man?
Its a great question! Sony basically has loaned Spiderman himself to the MCU as a supporting character in a set number of films. All of the other characters in the Spiderman comics can apparently come along for the ride.....except Venom, who Sony controls. He's seemingly their one little island of total control left.
https://geektyrant.com/news/jennifer-connelly-and-gwyneth-paltrow-are-in-spider-man-homecoming Gwenneth Paltrow will reprise her role as Pepper Potts in Spiderman Homecoming. It had been unclear if she would return to the MCU. I wonder if this is just to technically finish out her contract obligation. Also, Jennifer Connelly will be in the movie, but not seemingly as the same character that she played in The Hulk.
Good to have Pepper Potts back. Connelly can't be Betty Ross because Liv Tyler played that role in the MCU Hulk movie.
It is possible in lego form. Or maybe they can pull a Tekken Streetfighter and do a switch with Marvel vs Capcom and DC Injustice.
Even after reading the story linked above I am not sure why the phrase "Make Mine Milkshake" makes sense.
https://geektyrant.com/news/james-g...p-decades-of-new-marvel-movies-and-characters Some big info from James Gunn. As much as anything, I love that Marvel has this huge plan for everything, and they're following through with it. Make it happen!
Too bad they can't get back the Fantastic Four franchise (and do it right). THey were always cosmic players in the comic books.
The one thing that I would really have liked to have seen Galactus as the villain in a FF movie..shame they blew it.
no kidding. Showing the "dark cloud" in the sky that was the presence of Galactus was so incredibly lame. Like Ben-Affleck as daredevil lame. felt like they ran out of money. that sequel was so bad.
Thor: Ragnarok (2017) Black Panther (2018) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) Captain Marvel (2019) Untitled Avengers film (2019) Untitled Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel (2019) Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (TBA) I mean, look at that lineup. I can't wait for every single one, with the possible exception of Spiderman (still haven't seen the most recent one). Honestly, about 75% of my limited trips to the cinema are MCU movies.
Just waiting on Tom Cruise to buy the rights, cast himself, and become Namor, Guardian, Ka-Zor, Captain Britain, or Moon Knight. Oh, it's gonna happen.
I can't wait for the Homecoming sequel. The last movie was the closest actual comic book Spider-Man ever.
