I'd take that bet. Sorry but he's way better than perry, maybe they could PS him. And I still don't get the love affair with our Williams. I think JW would be an improvement.

I've been wondering about that for months. He has the poorest vision and creativity as a runner I've seen in a long time. He is a good receiver and pass protection blocker, but the position is called Running Back for a reason. If they asked me I'd replace Williams with Williams, and keep Perry.

I'm still not sure why the Bills released him. He looked to be a good backup to McCoy. Not sure they've got anyone else better than him on their depth chart right now to be honest.

Should we sign him? I wouldn't be against it. He's got the talent to be a decent option on a depth chart. He'd probably slot in third on ours, but he's worth an add for us or anyone else.

I like him because he'd fit in with Ajaya and be the other in between the tackles kind of brusing back which I feel we need. Plus he's only in his 2nd year, an actual Young guy, plus reasonable price, and be here when the other Williams ups his contract and is in the market next year. Also if Ajaya stubs his toe and misses a game or two were not screwed and he would fit in nicer I think than any of the other guys. JMO
Have to say its nice not talking about a Place Kicker...lol

Yea, we're iffy at the linebacker position so let's just pick up ANOTHER running back...because 3 on the roster just isn't enough.

Sorry for the sarcasm....still upset about Franks being cut.

Ya the professionals running the team thought what we needed was a real game breaking Place kicker...who might even be as good or better than the one we had...lol

Normally I would actually agree with you but if your not getting another LB or starting DB or OL and the right player happens to be there that can actually have a shot at giving our team a large, less expensive, young, hole filling upgrade well my friend you at least take a long look at it. And being just a novice would not even consider that being a place kicker or punter.... And having several already doesn't make it to hard to find a space for him if he's significantly better and fits our needs more appropriately....JMHO

If it makes us better to replace one of the three with JW where's the beef?

I think if there is one thing we know about Gase is that he likes "his players." I think Jeremy Langford is a more realistic option than Williams.

Liked him too, but Williams is a another step up and makes a move in which we do have 3 guys more logical and worth greater consideration...IMO..

Yea, because Franks' 56 yard FG against Buffalo that got us INTO the playoffs was less clutch than this guy Parkey, whose missed 3 FG's against us is MORE clutch.

Thanks for two great years Andrew. My wife and I will ALWAYS be fans of yours...GO ENGINEERS!!!

Funny my point truthfully has little to do with a place kicker.
Thing that surprises me is that with all this team needs we end up with a kicker. LBr makes sense, but all this hoopla over this transaction blows my mind and really has me questioning the front office and Gase who I know has the ability to walk on water at this point. I'd think we would be exploring different areas than kickers like LB, DB,OL but then what do I know....
Hey if not mistaken Parkey misses also helped us get to the playoffs....and I see this move as sideways....

Now go get RB Jonathan Williams and actually have something to be excited about.. place kicker ....lol

    Agree
And IMO having a J Williams will keep us excited to have a healthy productive Jay Train On The Field....
And when hes taking a breather or god forbit healing (which happens) we will have a similar brusing back to fill in the blanks and pound the defense with, which could even make the train better. Definitely having both would take some level of pressure off our QB...
