Im anxious to see how the extended layoff and diversions from normalcy affects us Sunday. I would expect it to manifest itself in the early going...many of our starters havent played a meaningful snap in 3 weeks. If we can be close at the end of the first quarter, or halftime, we might be ok. We have some strong vets on both sides of the ball to go along with our many youngsters. What character will be revealed by the adversity we've faced? We'll know soon enough! Go Fins!!!
If you looked around the league last week and saw some of the bad football played you would have no doubt, it's week one in the NFL. Unfortunately, This will be our week One. Hopefully they can come out sharper than most teams last week.
yeah wasn't pretty I am hoping they work on plays that are very aggressive to attempt to score a quick 14
Gase's philosphy preaches and reinforces winning in the 4th quarter. I expect that's where we'll continue to show up with the most vigor and focus.
I agree, or even just the second half. If defense can keep us in it through the first half, the offense should start getting it's feet under itself. Knowing how well my predictions go, it'll most likely be the opposite.
I say first play, we go play-action pass deep to Kenny Stills. Let's set the tone that we wanna be aggressive.
