Prepare yourself. This board is full of goofballs. You had goofs who said Tanny couldn't have won the game last week vs SD, then goofs who said we wouldve won this game with RT. It will be an every game occurrence.
They played like S#@t as a team......The Jets played a hell of a game.........Ajayi got like 15 yards....don't hear anyone saying he is garbage.....Cutler had a bad game but the entire team did........teams play crap games sometimes.....New England week one.....Crap game.....point is everyone should just calm down and let things play out.....have confidence in the team and stand behind them. What did they do last season? I'm disappointed but not giving up.....and not even close to thinking they suck and the season is done..... I don't get that mentality
Wasn't Tbaum part of Bellichick's staff at one point? Didn't he put together the talent in NY that had the jets as back to back AFC Championship contenders? Coaching matters as well. Gase failed us today. Regardless, we lost 3 starters to ACLs, 1 to PEDs suspension, and another to an "indefinite suspension". Also, due to the Hurricane and schedule, we'll have traveled more than half the league by the time we face the Titans in 2 weeks. Agree on drafting a QB, but we're not so bad we're going to be picking Top 5 due to our record. If that happens, it's more likely a trade up.
Miami has had the same issue since Marino retired, they have refused to address the issue seriously. They bring in washed up QBs, have draft reaches in first round QB's. We had one chance to address the issue we had Drew Brees ready to sign and Miami went with Donovan McNabb. The fans need to press the front office that we seriously need to get a real QB here who can lead the team.
I don't care who we draft as long as he's in the first round. That way we know he'll be a franchise quarterback.
LMGDAO. We've drafted exactly 1st round QB, Tannehill, and he wasn't a reach. Also, Donovan McNabb never played here. Maybe you mean Daunte Culpepper? As for "washed up QBs", we didn't have a lot of options after we lost Tannehill to the ACL.
Ya, and the amount we have seen to be so called prepared, with dysfunctional partial game plans also should put some responsibility on Gase and the coaching staff for we were pretty much unprepared for this game and schooled by Todd Bowels.... Gases inexperience as a HC is easily seen for those not wearing the colored glasses. Though I still believe he has great potential and don't want to give up on him yet....but he definitely is not a top shelf HC at this point....and Im wonder about a few of the others too...
Naaaa just continue the scab pick up for OLmen like we've been doing the last 12 years..... Maybe a little more creativity in the game planning might also help...but the OL should be suspended for not showing up...
They don’t call him Mr. 4th Quarter for nothin’! — Kristin Cavallari (@KristinCav) November 10, 2015 RT @Al_RodMiami: The #Dolphins didn't lose. They just ran out of time. #FinsUp === lmao.
Maybe if the DB's could stop a pass or two once and a while...The OL was also terrible too (all of them) .....Ya Tannehill, I can see the next few years being wasted trying to prove that was a good decision....5 years is enough for me..... Were just a crappy team and really lucked out we won last week with their kickers screw up for the winning FG.... Same ole same ole Im afraid but we will win a few to keep the delusion alive..... seen this way to much...
Andrew Abramson @AbramsonFL Dolphins fans the last month: Tannehill is done. Cutler the QB for the next few years... Dolphins fans today: I miss Tannehill.
Neither one of them is the answer but at least Tannehill wouldn't have embarrassed himself like Cutler did today.
sad sports guy @_mywifeleftme_ Everyone: "The Jets are gonna go 0-16" Jay Cutler: "Hold my cig." === lmao...
I don't think anyone actually said Cutler was the answer at QB. With that said...Derek Carr is clearly not the answer at QB for the Raiders. It was a bad game, but I expect Cutler to bounce back next week against Nola.
Lots of people said Cutler was the answer, not sure where you're getting that from, TBH. Many people were saying we should probably trade Thill and ride with Cutler and then draft the future.
Cutler is old, broken down and afraid of getting hit. I don't see how we can salvage this season unless Matt Moore is able to pull a rabbit out of his ***.
$10 million well spent. LOL I feel bad for Matt Moore. This butt love for J-Cutty is gonna seriously ruin a lot of cache Gase has tried to build himself.
difference is the raiders played a team that's going to play for the east title and def a playoff team the jets are going to be lucky to be .300, it some thing to have a bad game its another to absolutely p*$$ the bed against a team that was expected to go 0-16
I think this is great, again the real jay cutler keeps standing and everyone thought oh man under the one yr of gase hes going to strive, the guy couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat in the middle of the pacific. week one he was saved by catches with horrible throws, I seen a 10 mill 12 yr vet qb miss a wide open 15 yard Landry on a scramble to the right which any qb in the league even a rookie can make which I seen JACOBY BRISCKET eater hit ty Hilton on a 25 yard sideline grab with one of these and hes a rookie. 10 mill like I have been saying was a waste of money and matt moore should be pissed moore would have faired so much better in this system, you can tell from landry's reaction after the missed td that he is threw with cutler already it must be happening a lot more than we know. What do you think the saints are going to do there going to stack the box and stop J train and guess what win the game easily lol its such a joke. ON a positive note I thought the defense was better than I expected, but still the scheme is down right horrible his airness drew brizzle is going to light us up like the coast guard on drug smugglers.
The truth is the team stunk from top to bottom yesterday in any way that can possibly be judged. The oline was beat like a drum, Cutler and his receivers are clearly not on the same page yet and he had way too many throws off of his back foot. The defense just stinks completely in the middle of the field and gives way too much room for receivers in the middle of the field and that is what worries me the most. The offense and Cutler will get better. The one thing that stood out to me yesterday as well was the predictability of Gase's play calling again in the 1st half and into the 3rd quarter. Run, Run, Pass nearly every series. He has to open up throwing the ball downfield on the early downs a little to keep defenses honest. You cant keep going 3 and out and putting our already marginal Defense on the field like that. Really though, it was just a plain bad performance in a crucial division game. This one could come back to haunt us big time.
Matt Moore...should be pissed...lmao Are you kidding, that guy should thank his lucky stars that the Dolphins have set him up for life for basically carrying a clip board. He's good at what he is a backup QB, but don't delude yourself that he's anything more than that. You do know what Backup means right ? Cutler bashing maybe be valid I will give him a bit more time, but bringing Moore into the equation just nullified any logic...
So whats your point... That logic if it worked would destroy Vegas in a day...... For yesterdays OL to be any worse you'd have to just draw a white line across the line of scrimmage and say count to 1 before rushing in and then cheat on the counting like it looked like the Jets did but didn't need to....... Yesterdays game goes way beyond Cutler, from all that played on the field to the geniuses that prepped and game planned ( if they did gm plan) Did you see the game ? Christ even Ajayi barely got the ball before the DL was dragging him down ...oh ya 4 yds behind the line of scrimmage and gee wize on a consistent basis. The whole team sucked BIG TIME ! was not prepared and obviously forgot to get up after the National Anthem.... Oh by the way love to see those poor abused millionaires out in the community supporting the kids and education and helping by actually doing something besides creating more separation and doing little good to cure a legitimate problem.. But then again, Planet Earth = the Insane Asylum of the Universe.... we're all whacked and the smarter ones are the ones that know that....
ALFRED E. NEWMAN @ going forward without knowing which way we're facing Coaching staff the last several years: We need to upgrade the OL... There are the potential OL backups that will pull us through... Oh crap we need better OL play....We need Lbrs. bring in the typical border liners and were all set..... Surprise we need LBing help..... ps. find DB's with longer arms that can make plays 4 yds off WR's
I think merely the point of Moore is that cutler is not an upgrade and paying him 10 mill to suck is the problem, Moore could have easily done what cutler has done in the past 2 games and that's a truth. The reason I say Moore should be pissed is that he has done enough as the backup proven late last yr to give him a run (that's if he wants it) at the first string, but I never thought cutler was an upgrade from Moore. The fact cutler is 2 games in and still cant hit wide open 15 yard passes is scary to me, he has no bye week to get it straight now he has to fly to London and in that time get it straight I don't see it. I do agree it was all bad, but here's the thing what do you think the saints are going to do? that's right stack the box to stop J-train and let cutler beat himself. A qb should be able to pick up the team when the running game isn't working and if he cant why are you paying him 10 mill or even bring him in at all!!!
its never ending, RT isn't playing so he shouldn't be a topic of if's, if grandma had balls she'd be grandpa but who cares. Until RT is suited up and taking the snaps let the ifs and RT argument alone!!!
At least with Moore you aren't wasting 4-5 games just hoping everyone gets on the same page. I've never seen a QB look that disinterested in a game. It was embarrassing.
Dude, the whole team sucked yesterday. Name one player that actually played well for us. Cameron Wake played decent and that's about it. The entire team was terrible, but Cutler gets the brunt of the blame and rightfully so because he is the quarterback. I just fail to see how his performance was any less or crappy than the turd that Derek Carr laid on the field in a prime time game. My point (please read) is that everyone has a bad game. Carr is an MVP type talent and he was terrible last night. It doesn't matter that he was playing the Redskins. The results of yesterdays games should clearly indicate that on any given Sunday (as the saying goes) things can and will happen. We saw Baltimore get trounced by Jacksonville, Pittsburgh lose to the horrific Bears, Denver lose to Buffalo, Jacoby Brissett look like Randall Cunningham, Seattle and Tennessee was an absolute shootout as was the Rams/49ers game. It was a weird week for sure. Cutler was bad, but so was the whole team.
