    Miami Dolphins Statements
    Posted 8 minutes ago

    Chris Foerster
“I am resigning from my position with the Miami Dolphins and accept full responsibility for my actions. I want to apologize to the organization and my sole focus is on getting the help that I need with the support of my family and medical professionals.”

    Team Statement
“We were made aware of the video late last night and have no tolerance for this behavior. After speaking with Chris this morning, he accepted full responsibility and we accepted his resignation effective immediately. Although Chris is no longer with the organization, we will work with him to get the help he needs during this time.”

Just a quick moment to reflect on this. I don't know if Foerster was married or had kids, but if so, then his actions have cost him a lot more than his job, and have hurt a lot more than just a football team. No excuses. His stupid, stupid choices, but man this is horrible.

If doesn't have a family, then that's a small mercy. I hope he gets himself sorted out physically and spiritually.

Look, he doesn't have to be drug tested. But the minute you start recording in today's society and having that mix with social media, you are done. Now this sort of decision making in real life has to be spilled to his job and no wonder we have been garbage on the line

How long was he OL coach?

We all deal with the pain of having Cutler as our QB differently I guess

I was harsh in my initial post (I guess?), but I echo your sentiment.

Perfect response, immediate and brief. They mentioned working with him to get help but also made it clear he was not with the organization. Now move on with a quick hire and we can get this behind us and move towards improving.

It is sad that we live in such a sensitive world where a man cannot snort cocaine off of a hooker's butt anymore.

We need to go back to our old values of cocaine and hookers, like in the olden days.

this is pretty cut and dry. Unless he wasn't a lone wolf. Can't compare to Bullygate, not a lot of players involved and outside- the-lockeroom ramifications (texts, tweets)

He didn't want to snort it off her butt......the way he wanted it sounds like the cocaine would be hard to snort out of.

Also, he has only been our o-line coach for 2 years and our personnel is terrible at that position despite the 3 first rounders invested, but he has got to be pretty bad at his job regardless because our O-line is horrific.

While everyone either pokes fun at Forester...or sympathies with him at the human level, this incident explains to me why the offensive line play has been atrocious this season. The offensive line coach undisciplined, unfocused and his lack of focus translated into unfocused play.

    Good riddance!
