he played for Broncos. I think he was pretty decent. but Foerester also was running game coordinator too. I wonder who does that
SN's source also believes Dave Magazu would be a strong candidate to join Miami's coaching staff if Foerster were displaced. Chris Kuper is in his first season as Miami's assistant offensive line coach, which means the Dolphins could be looking for more experienced help. Magazu worked as offensive line coach when Adam Gase was offensive coordinator in Denver and Chicago before becoming Miami's head coach.
Unemployed. He's a John Fox disciple. Jason Whitlock doesn't like him, which probably means he's a stand-up guy. http://www.espn.com/page2/s/whitlock/040129.html Fansided's Mike Flannery thinks he was a sacrificial fire last year. https://beargoggleson.com/2017/01/06/bears-fired-wrong-offensive-coach/
Won SB with Giants, then 2014 w Pats. Also presided over a carousel of garbage at Right Tackle here in Miami, culminating with Marc Columbo in 2011, I believe.
I hope he comes in and says fu## this lateral outside zone BS, WERE GONNA COME OFF THE BALL AND HIT PEOPLE..BOTTOM LINE..
Apparently it's possible Googs might not be the OL coach but something else instead. Assistant? Kuper could be the new OL coach.
And then we need three offseasons to get the right kind of linemen because these ones dont fit his approach properly. Just sayin'. I am tired of changing systens or achemes or whatecer and etting us back years as we ditch good talent to fond the right guys to run what a new coach prefers.
Nah BK...every lineman at this level wants to come off the ball and hit people, they all can do it..it's what they've been doing all their lives..
Disagree. Different linemen have different abilities. Some can drive block and inline block well but can't move, pull worth a darn, for instance.
I agree some don't have the lateral ability so that's why I'm saying what I am... What's the easiest thing a lineman can do?
I tend to think if he isn't the OL coach he'll take over the "run game coordinator" duties that Foerster had.
I would love to believe that Foerster was a big part of the OL issues, but if he was slacking or teaching bad technique to the OL I have to lay blame with Gase at not being aware of it. I know the head coach is a busy man, but when there are issues on game day, you should be taking a closer look at things. Anyway, addition by subtraction I guess.
ESPN is saying: "His responsibility will be to coach the offensive line in Miami, and he will work with assistant offensive line coach Chris Kuper." (http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...ire-dave-deguglielmo-new-offensive-line-coach)
Senior offensive Assistant...lol Like our offensive linemen : Senior starters assistants... Oh how I miss the logical Shula days... Kuech Sims Webb Dellenbach Newman Langer Evans oh lets not forget Little and Stevenson..... You think Shula knew something ?
