Gase gets ALL the blame for this terrible loss.

That's on Tannenbum who I would love to see fired before Gase. However, there is no way that happens. Ross has no real idea about what he is watching and seems to be much tighter with his higher ups than the lower men on the totem pole. I would think that Tannenbum is selling him all kinds of stories to protect himself first and foremost. Maybe somebody else Ross trusts in the office can see what is going on. Someone like Marino wouldn't be afraid to speak up I would think, if he sees the problems.

I would love to hear what Marino says about this offense after he has a few drinks.

    That's your opinion.

Another opinion, that probably has more merit, is that the oline is dog ****, and the QB position is decidedly worse, causing the entire offense to be a compete cluster.

Now, I don't know if its coaching, players not executing, or the scheme, but I just don't see our receivers having any space. It's like every throw is to a receiver who is triple covered. I don't see that with many, if any, other teams, and its been that way for awhile.

I don't know how anyone can look at last season and not see that we padded the win column with bad teams.

If the personnel is as bad as Gase wants us to believe, then it was his playcalling that masked the deficiencies vs. the lower tier squads ........ but it wasn't enough for the Ravens, Patriots, and Steelers of the world. There's a part of me that thinks if the defense wasn't a complete matador last year those Patriots and Steelers games would've been far more competitive though.

No, this team is not lacking in talent. That is a misconception you guys keep parroting and gase seems to want to push as well to cover his ***. This steam is loaded with talent across the board, Landry, ajayi, stills, Parker, pouncey, tunsil, james, drake, williams, caroo, grant, fasano, thomas, gray are all decent to great players with tons of talent who are underperforming and not being utilized according to their abilities in this offense due to gase and the coaching staff's lack of creativity and player development skills.

Three fisrt round draft picks on the oline and terrible results tells you we have bad coaching and player development.

Electrifying players like grant and drake would have been stars by now in a place like KC or New England where they actually know how to use and develop talent.

That's why we consistently see guys leave Miami and turn into good productive players somewhere else. It's because our coaches going back several years have been terrible at getting the most out of the talent we have.

The problem has always been more on the coaching, gamplanning, and player development side instead of lack of talent.

Gase gets all the blame ?????

Wow just a year ago without even being a head coach yet he was the next coming .....

Now he has his stamp all over this team and we are saying he gets all the blame, like it is unfair...He is a vital and significant part of this team and like the rest of the organization needs to be held accountable with the added understanding, that this is the team HE has a large portion of putting together and its a bit scary seeing the guy in such a fog trying to figure out what the hell is going on......now this maybe Head coaching material for some of you but sorry to say Not me....and I don't need years more to see it...

sorry to be so negative for truthfully I wish it were different....

Again - soft schedule last year could've been very misleading.

This league catches on fast and there's a distinct possibility that they caught on to Gase. He can get up there on the podium and put it on the players all he wants, but at the end of the day he was hired to convince them to want to put in the work. That's his role as a head coach. The man has a bit of an ego though and his first instincts are to protect his "scheme".

I hear ya....and its not like Gase is a virgin to the NFL and how it works. I also consider that he has and had a great amount of input into these players we signed on to acquire. And if you can't adjust in a reasonable amount of time, a year and a half later, well I'm siding on the more experienced approach. I just don't see the skills we need and more the continuation of week to week confusion....And sorry to say the latest "the players are not smart enough (if I got that right ) is not a excuse or even feasible, IMO....More like the coaches are not smart enough if you want to play that hand......But I do like that he's pissed off thats a bonus IMO....

Just thinking out of the box here - we're talking about a bunch of athletes (a lot of which are in their prime 20's) with tons of money living in South Beach. Doesn't strike me as the perfect environment for them wanting to sit around in their off time engaging in some extra curricular studying of next level concepts on offense. Has that work/personal life balance in Miami tipped over into competitive disadvantage?

Don't forget, we finished pre season and then left home for a month. Just imagine that for a second- telling your wife and family goodbye while having no idea when you're coming back. Practicing in a new city every week without your support group around you and FINALLY getting back home to see if a hurricane destroyed everything you own.

Folks are making it sound like our team is rich, entitled players who just don't give a damn but I just don't buy that- this schedule has been the most brutal for any NFL team in years. After a month on the road, very limited practice and somehow a 3-2 record, it's perfectly natural for our guys to want to spend off-time with their families. You'd be a horrible husband if you didn't feel like that.

I'm not making excuses for anyone here but sometimes, it's about more than just football. Some folks here are acting like athletes are robots who don't deserve a personal life- it's been a very, very tough season from a logistics standpoint. Moore didn't look great after two practices with reps over the last two months...and that's supposed to be shocking? Come on folks.

Blame Gase all you want, but this isn't just about football. You have to look at the entire picture here.....4 and 3 is an awesome record for what we've been through.

No, you can find that stuff anywhere. It's the person, not the environment.

Personal life, very tuff logistics, not just football, having to leave home boo hoo, just buy your wife a new car from an hours work or kids new bikes for 10 mins. on the job, lol.........and us at 4 and three the way we've played is a miracle and LUCK playing a huge part (last year too)....what half way through the last game mid season we actually were in the lead 2 1/2 minutes time from the 3 previous games......# PREVIOUS WHOLE GAMES 2 1/2 MINUTES !!!!!!!!! Oh and never lead the last game, thats 4 gms.
Sorry but the word excuses does seem to fit pretty well here.....

This is their careers and pretty damn lucky to be were they are, with the opportunity to secure your whole friggin life for 2-3-4 years salary and most Families I'm sure are also ecstatic.... Are they ALL held to different standards then the every day hard working chump ...you damn right they are, thats why they get the big bucks and deserve to be held to that different standard, they have such a gift....

I wish people thought like this when I was in school and had to do all that homework every night after spending all day on the job in school...and not even an allowance.....

I see lackadaisical play all over the field on offense. To me, it rings true that the players aren't putting in the time. Gase has dumbed down the offense, and they still can't seem to grasp it.

I dont think these players would be stars in NE. I don't think they'd see the field. The NE offense is actually pretty complex, with all sorts of options based on what happens as the receivers proceed down the field. If they aren't grasping and executing a dumbed down basic offense, they'd have zero chance in NE's offense.

Sorry, I get this crap all the time on another site and they always post that they're so glad to eat crow and they're magically off the hook. That's BS that you can dump on your team and we have to suffer the bad opinions without any repercussions...
