The ship is sinking and he is throwing guys overboard to save himself.

Ajayi didn't just unlearn the offense and become a bum from one year to the next. Landry is not all of a sudden a bum who doesn't know the offense either. The problem is the entire league knows gase's offense by now and know exactly how to stop it.

It is the most predictable and vanilla offense in the NFL right now and that is all on gase.

Him now blaming the players is a way to take the pressure off him and protect his aura of being some kind of guru and offensive genius which he is obviously not. Gase is a ****ing fraud and should be fired.

They are shopping Landry right as we speak, and when he said his best players didn't know the offense he was referring to ajayi and Landry.

My bet is that Landry will be a Patriot this week for a 5th round pick.

the pats trade players in their last year of contract that they can't/won't spend the money the player wants. Miami MIGHT do the same to laundry and you're all pissy about it. Yet you want to be like the pats and win...

Exactly, and not only that but nobody was complaining about Landry or ajayi last season. Case's offense has been figured out and now he wants to lay the blame on the players. Bull****.

Guys, clearly you have all forgotten that Gase is a genius. When he was hired, everyone at ESPN said he was a genius. That makes him a genius.

If seems unclear, foolish, or ill-conceived, it is because you are not a genius. We peasants should not criticize. Besides, when that fourth round pick turns into another second string offensive lineman, you will have to eat crow.

You’re so level-headed. It’s not like we gave 2016’s best yards-after-contact RB to the team with the best record in the NFL for a fourth round pick.

so you think this was, what, ineptitude? why don't you go back and watch the film? Do you see anything? Do you see a guy that maybe Gase called out about not studying? I saw (based on my post this week), a slow back. A back that is one-dimensional. And Gase's biggest issue right now is teams know what he is doing.

Jamaal Charles has the best YPC of any back in NFL history. What do you think he's worth?

The Eagles didn't trade for 2016 Ajayi. Understand?

Funny how players that produced last year don’t know what is going on this year.

The clear problem is Gase. His system is garbage. Also, what RB would be successful in this system with this offensive line....NONE! The box is stacked on every down yet we still run into a wall. Or throw a bubble screen.

We will probably score 12 points combined in all of those games. It’s going to get ugly. No RB, the defenses are all looking at us and probably extremely excited

Why are people acting like we were some sort of offensive juggernaut last season? The offense wss pretty bad last year, and we lost the one player who knew what was supposed to be going on when Tannehill went down.

The offense is vanilla because aren't learning the playbook, and aren't executing.

I dont like losing Ajayi anymore than anyone else, but if the guy is not doing his assignments as he is supposed to, not putting in the off field work as required and on top of that is reverting to his pouting self and creating problems in the locker room, He wrote his own ticket out the door.

Would Bill Belichek put up with it? I dont think so. I'd have thought he was worth more than a 4th round pick but if the knee questions are back again it makes sense. Think of it this way, we spent a 5th and got a 4th.

I already knew that. Jamaal Charles is 30 years old and tore his ACL two seasons in a row.

AFAIK, Ajayi last tore his ACL in 2011 and he’s only 24 years old coming off a great season despite his coach barely giving him opportunities until he was forced to. I think the problem is clearly Gase.

What if the playbook is not being executed by the coach, what if its been changed so much it looks remedial. what if its being executed as planned? I see it hard to believe that a team cant execute one play out of a playbook ya know? just a thought lol

I think maybe he's a control freak and wants what he calls ran no matter what, here's his weekly qb meeting "Jay matt, no matter what just run the play, I don't care if they have 11 guys on the line run the play that's called its best for us." hahah I mean at this point let someone audible they cant do worse

this is all knee jerk reaction by fans who don't actually know what's going on.

The offense was bad last year. We know players other than Tannehill weren't comfortable in the offense through the first 5 weeks or so, so Gase simplified. Now, year two, the offense has been simplified again, and there are players still not putting in the time to learn it, or are freelancing.

    Those are facts.

Why are we the only team were no one can understand the playbook? these guys have been playing football long enough, plays and schemes don't change that drastically where you cant understand it, if anything the pats packers, and manning had super complex offenses and seems like all their players got it?

Is maybe lack of wanting too because they know the book and scheme suck?

The fact is Gase didn’t give Ajayi many opportunities, the team started off with a terrible record, Foster retired, Ajayi went berserk and carried us the rest of the season and made the Pro Bowl. Ajayi and Wake were the biggest factors in the turnaround.

I'm not surprised at the move. He's got bad knees and they don't wanna take the chance the he only has a few years left. He's been know to complain about not getting the ball, and fails at picking up blitzes. IMO he's not that great. He's not so good to where he can't be replaced.
