You must be a lifelong Dolphin fan, like a Dolphin lifer huh? You got run off FH for spewing the same nonsense. Changing message boards does not change knee jerk and juvenile ramblings to reality or logic. Keep up the solid work. It will not be long at all until you meet the same fate here.
Just because you pay money to the site doesn’t mean you should issue a threat to another poster. Come on.
Where did I issue a threat Dan? where? Are you being serious? If I have no power at all to ban someone, where is my threat? Im making a prediction
Seems like you and the Gasy boys are a minority. The majority of people are realizing that Gase is garbage. I’m just tired of shlt coaches.
I've become pretty accustomed to the **** coaches over the past 20 or so years- those 70's, 80's and 90's teams have spoiled all of us I think. It's the **** fans that I'm tired of.
Once again, NO FACTS....none. But why start now? If you think you are in the majority, you are mistaken or delusional. Once again, not shocked. Opinions are not facts. No matter how much you think they are. Do we have a definitive answer if Gase is going to be a great coach....of course not. Anybody who thinks they know for sure is fooling themselves. But you do. SAD
We drafted him with knee issues and he did well last year. I’d rather take the chance that he deteriorates in the hope that he experiences a resurgence than dump him for a low 4th rounder.
Exactly! I would run him until he needs a walker instead of taking a low 4th round pick. Philly doesn’t seem concerned at all. I was reading their threads and they are laughing at us.
Well, this is a sad truth that I have been avoiding. Fml! Honestly, blow it up and trade everyone including the coach and FO
Huh? You mean Jameis's fav target at FSU right ? I mean there was hope he'd become cam's go to guy but it never materialized. Olsen, now McCaffrey are the clear go to's.
Everyone is, I was reading their forums earlier today. They all are glad that their organization passed on Gase when they were looking for a coach. Ross was the monor who bought into this Gase is a genius BS. Gase will be a HS coach one day when Ross finally fires him. It will take a while. Ross is a coward!
Funny, I would feel a lot better about this if they had traded Ajayi and a sixth rounder for the Eagles third rounder. A late fourth is.... well, 'sad' is the word I guess. The Eagles are building a championship caliber team with the kind assistance of the Miami Dolphins these past two years. Maybe they can hand out a few extra rings to our front office and coach if Philly wins the Super Bowl?
Yeah, I would have felt better if we got a 3rd round pick. But Gase probably didn’t negotiate very hard. Just asked what they would give and had already put Ajayi on the plane. Fvck Gase
This team is fuggin ******ed. Im glad I didn't pay for the ticket this year. I won't even be seen in public wearing Dolphins year.
It's about planning for the future? You have to plan for now as well as the future and more so for now. Landry is for now and should also be for the future. It's not wise to trade away your teams' best talent in his prime. He's not like 45 or something. He should have a very bright future here. I've said before that it cracks me up when people's arguments come down to the money. C'mon. Who gives a s--t? That stuff usually has way of working itself out. Let the accountants worry about that stuff and if you're going to pay a lot for a player on a team, giving it to the best player on your team wouldn't be a bad move! So, lets say you trade him, maybe get a high draft pick and then what? ...draft another WR you hope is as productive as Landry? ...makes no sense. I can not believe, with all the issues with this team, some are discussing whether to keep Landry or not. R U effen' kidding me? Worry about one of the others and stop the insanity. Por favor!
I keep seeing all the negative comments about how arrogant Coach Gase is and how useless his system is that has led to all this turmoil. That leads me to some obvious questions and my conclusions to those questions: 1) How bad could his system be if, after he simplified it "dumbed it down", we had a 10-6 year and got into the playoffs with a mess of a team that this forum said, and continues to complain about, being the result of 10 to 20 years of poor player selection and poor coaching? That doesn't look like a crappy system to me. 2) How complicated could his system be if he used it with varying degrees of success with the Broncos and the Bears? Apparently their personnel could understand and use it. 3) How much better should we be able to do with some improvements to our personnel and their ability to use the complete playbook? I would expect that we will be consistently competitive as playoff contenders. 4) How many of the original "pre-Coach Gase" players do you feel will be playing in the 2019 season, after the entire playbook has been in use for a year or more and 3 drafts worth of players have been brought in? (I'm not including the 2016 draft since, as I see it, it was used more to shore up the existing team than to be the basis of a new team.) I am only sure about RT as QB. There may be others, but because I do not know what is in the playbook, it would be useless for me to guess. I am sure about RT as QB because I think he was the biggest reason Adam Gase chose to become a Dolphin instead of going to one of the many teams that wanted him. If some of those players from the 2016 team makes it to the 2019 season, I would be delighted. Please feel free to state the names and positions of those "pre-Coach Gase" players you think will still be here.
if we don't make the playoffs this season nor the next while continuing to suck on offense with a worse running game, are you really confident gase will make it to the 2019 season?
I will put money on us not making the playoffs this year. There is just no way given are horrible we have played. Next year if Gasy doesn’t lead this team to the playoffs then he should be fired. I would fire Gasy now but Ross is gutless.
Gase’s success in Denver was all Manning. Manning called the shots and audible on probably 90% of the downs. Manning was his own offensive coordinator. While I think Marino was the greatest QB of all time, I think Manning was the most intelligent. Gase didn’t help Manning at all.
Manning has always led successful offenses, save for his rookie year. He posted an NFL record breaking 55 TDs and nearly 5500 yards only under Gase's offensive coordinating though.
This is the kind of thing the patsies have been doing for years. Groom a player, get it all out of him, and when he's peaked, trade him for more than you paid. I liked Ajayi too. But Perry and Drake can do everything he did and are on an upward trajectory. Shelf life was always limited on Ajayi. I hear all the attitude problems too, but I really think it was a matter of selling high and buying low for him. Overall a good move, not a popular one, but a good one.
Look at the team that Manning had in Denver. It was significantly better than anything he had in Indy.
This is always the dumbest thing I hear. Ross actually spends money, and generally doesn't insert himself into the football decisions. Ross is exactly what you want as an owner.
Ross does spend money but makes bad decisions in regards to football. Like hiring a coach that runs a offense that is a joke; Offense for Dummies https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fl...ily-deciphering-dolphins-offense-dummies/amp/ A good owner would tell Gase to adapt to the game and players he has or find another job. Gase is unable to change his scheme based on the cards dealt.
Manning is a nice guy. He isn’t going to throw someone under the bus. Gase is clearly over his head. Everyone except his fans knows it.
