So it looks like Miami will be middle of the road, maybe top 12 team in the draft. No chance for Barkley, maybe Chubb. I did post earlier about Miami shedding $40M in salary with cuts and another $40M with restructures, and if they go on that route, could they be players for Leveon Bell? Forget outside issues for a second (I know it is hard). His style and what he brings to the pass games of intrigue. Combine that with Pitt's potential bottleneck in salary, that could make Pitt not re-sign him. Of course a franchise tag again, will raise his salary already from $12M. I know backs are a dime a dozen, but what he brings in the passing game may justify his salary. I assume he blocks well, because how else does AB catch those deep routes? Obviously, Miami already has a tough decision with Juice, but you see where I am going with this. Miami needs a legit back (stating the obvious) that doesn't leave the field.

Don't get me wrong, Bell is amazing. With Aaron Rodgers out he is the only reason I watch Sundays. But behind our line in our offense he would not be worth that kind of money. If we are looking for a name to create some excitement and offseason buzz, sure. But it would not be money well spent for the Dolphins IMO.

I’m sure we can get someone serviceable at RB. We need to focus on the offensive line first. No one will be successful running behind this line. No only that; the scheme needs to change too. Our offense is way too predictable and doesn’t allow for the QB to audible out of a run when facing a 8 or 9 man box.

Chubb will be available in the second round I would think...

His backup Sony Michel is a guy you look at in day 2-3

I'm sorry, I am assuming they fix the issues on the line.

That is.....quite an assumption. The team has shown little desire to do so, and its possible that Tunsil will be the only starting OL back next year. At a minimum, I think that we're replacing 2/3 interior OL, and won't have the cap room to bring in anyone high priced from outside. We're all going to be crossing our fingers again next summer that it works.

As far as the RB position, I think that we have little choice but to draft the new starter or bring in someone inexpensive from outside.

I would assume they won't and alter any plans accordingly. I'm serious. I'm sure one day it will happen, but after all of these years why expect anything to change this year?

    Slightly left of center
Miles Gaskin, after a trade down to the mid twenties. Go Dawgs!

I think you draft one 2nd or 3rd at the earliest. Honestly as many of you have already pointed out, unless we address the OL in free agency or through the draft it won't much matter. I think we move pouncey in the off season and grab another pick. If he could stay on the field it would be one thing, but I think everyone sees the writing on the wall with him.
