Adam Gase should have walked inside the press room and simply said “you will learn nothing new from my answers today”, would have summarized all the tweets sent.
Can someone please show me what Tunsil did good last week? did Gase watch the same game? looks like he forgot to take his Halloween costume off of being a blank clueless coach. we will see sunday night.
Again, last season everyone was gushing over Gase, now here we have people emphatically arguing he's clueless. Crazy.
BY BARRY JACKSON bjackson@miamiherald.com NOVEMBER 01, 2017 5:26 PM "Besides the Ajayi trade, Gase said changes would be made in other areas. “We’re just not going to stay the same,” Gase said. “We’re not going to keep doing the same thing and bang our head against the wall. We made some changes with how we’re meeting, how we’re going to walk through, how we’re going to schedule things, how we’re going to practice,... the way that we’re teaching, the way that we game plan. That’s what we should be doing. “If we sit here and do the same thing over and over again and just keep saying it’s execution or I’ve got to call different plays and things like that, then we’re really kidding ourselves. We’ve got to find the right way to teach, we’ve got to find the right way to learn and then we have to find what allows us to execute best on Sunday.” Gase was encouraged on Tuesday and Wednesday because “I do sense a sense of urgency, from the offense especially.”" " • Players on Wednesday did not dispute Gase’s public comments on Friday that multiple unnamed players, including some of the team’s best, need to do a better job studying the playbook. “It's something we all can all can do as a team,” Landry said. “That helps us. I wouldn't say it's going to ideally win the game for us but it helps us be prepared for a lot of situations. The more we know, the faster we can play. That is a good point. That, I know myself personally [is something I] can do more of.” Of Gase imploring his players to be better-prepared, center Mike Pouncey said: “It's something you shouldn't even have to talk about at this level of football. We're all professional athletes. We are here for one reason, to play football. You need to be fully prepared. It's your job. It's not just out there having fun any more. We want guys to know what they're doing on every play.”" http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/nfl/miami-dolphins/article182161146.html
Gase changing up the play calling...I’ll believe it when I see it. The guy loves bubble screens and 2nd and long draws. He loves running into a stacked box. Gase genius has been exposed.
He sucked. For example: Oh wait, it was because of his knee bothering him. That's why he cannot figure out who to block. His knee is where his brain is. This one's even better. But since he was a first rounder, it can't be his fault. Maybe Gase was talking about the pair of false starts, one of them to start the game off. I was excited that we got Tunsil and still have hope, but when I hear about players not studying, the tape don't lie.
I honestly think our offense will be very short and wide with the ball coming out as fast as possible. That may help protect the QB from this offensive line and gets Drake more touches in space without the wear and tear of trying to get past the defensive line. So Cutler may drop back 50 times but not get hit a lot because we simply dink and dunk with the odd deep ball to Stills or 50/50 ball thrown at the sidelines for Parker.
" Hal Habib ✔ @gunnerhal " Gase says Drake "actually is pretty good" in pass protection. "He does a good job of stepping up and meeting contact." Well thats just fine and dandy.... But from what I've seen he will need to be able to protect against 3 or 4 guys at once... Now if Gase and buddies could just decipher the ability or lack of, from the people who's job is to actually block we'd be miles ahead. But thats Football 101 and its obviously the class our staff missed and need to do more studying on, on their off time. His insight is getting comical.... Be pretty nice if Drake could hold down the fort in the running game aspect, for he is a RB,.. RB = Running Back, you know take the ball and run.......
