Is Gase hard selling Williams and Drake to help justify the trade of Ajayi? I'm more inclined to think he is taking the 'glass half full' perspective and hoping those guys step up to the challenge. I'm sure they have flashed the ability in practice but have had minimal opportunity (especially if Ajayi was constantly demanding more touches) in actual games. I have been saying since the Ravens disaster that Gase needed to make changes. I wasn't expecting an Ajayi trade, but you can't say that Gase has stood pat. Big changes have and are being made, the only question left is -will those changes work? Getting the offense up to 20 points per game would be a HUGE turnaround and I'll feel a LOT better about Gase as a coach.
Hey Galant Anyway to ease up on all the pasting, So many it takes forever to down load the page... If I'm the only one I can live with it buts it is a drag..... Page 1 is ridiculous
There's a lot over overreaction around these parts, I've started using certain "features" of the site to hide some of the non-sense.
I can paste only the links instead of embedding but then everyone would have to click each link to see the content and that would result in a lot of extra loading time as each link opened would have to load the page. Alternatively I could justify add a bandwidth warning to the title of threads like this, although I do also post as lot of Tweets in some other threads I haven't created. Beyond that, I could possibly use the hide feature, if there is one. Although that would slow down my ability to post Tweets as they appear online. If no one actually catches the Tweets as they happen though, and don't mind getting the news a bit delayed, that might be an acceptable cost. Need to see if the forum has a hide feature though.
And I embrace that, I'm not looking for an echo chamber. I rarely use it, but sometimes it's necessary to enjoy the site. There may only be 2 on there.
Friday is not a real football practice, more like a walk through..good to know that everyone will play.
Galant: Don't worry about it...... I hope you didn't take my post as critical of you and I also like seeing all the pastes. Just never experienced such a long down load time when there are so many. The "ridiculous" was for my down load time for the page and not your pasting of info. Keep it up I can live just fine with the longer time for your pastes are informative and a big reason to come here, to get info first and fast.... second thought skip Spoiler ( flagged "Blocked by Content Security Policy" comes up ) it doesn't work on a lot of the tweets and I do enjoy the info and want to see your pastes..sorry I even brought this up
here's my keen insight: Our defense is a mail order bride from the Dominican Republic. They're definitely at least a nine, but you can't go completely nuts with them or you'll ruin them. While our offense treats the end zone like a syphilitic whore from Cleveland. They only score when they absolutely need to... Any questions?
No worries. Thanks. The warning appears for the Spoiler tag or appears in place of the Tweet when you click the Spoiler tag?
When Gase came here originally, we signed Arian Foster. Foster became the starter because of his one cut style and his recieving skills. Foster was the kind of player Gase wanted to build his offense around, not Ajayi. Drake and Williams offer that kind of style. They can line up anywhere, ajayi couldn't. Ajayi had poor hands, poor blocking, and never did anything with the ball if he did manage to catch it. He lacked quickness needed to get open. In a way, Ajayi would give away our game plan because we pretty much had to run it with him on the field, because he wasnt a threat otherwise. So pretty easy call for the opposing DC. "Hmm. Ajayis on the field, stack the box." We've seen Williams make plenty of plays in the passing game and Drake has the potential to make big plays too. I gotta believe we'll use them in completely different ways than Ajayi. And I wouldn't be shocked to find out Ajayis mere presence was holding back Gase' creativity. IDK if theyll work out but I can see why Gase likes them. They're more of what he's wanted at RB all along.
