you sound like a huge meat head incapable of nuance. Think about the NBA, you can spend an entire game shooting nothing but heavily contested 3's and steal a game by getting lucky and making a ton of low percentage shots like that. That doesnt mean you should be doing that every game for the rest of eternity. Especially in a small 16 game sample size with such small margins of error like an NFL game, process is much greater than result in just about everything youll do in life.

If i want to go swimming in a bath tub full of pirhanas as my leisure activity for the day and manage to make it out alive, that isnt a smart thing to do simply because i made it out alive. Just like, in a different leisure activity, i want to go for a nice walk in a park and get struck by lightning and die. That doesnt make the swimming with pirhanas the smarter and safer thing to do.

Obviously the game got completely out of hand in the 3rd quarter, but let's not forget we were down 7-10 with a minute left on the clock before halftime. I thought Gase played everything perfectly until things spiraled out of control.

Half of Cutler's throws in the first half were completely wide open misses, but the playcalling was spot on. We very easily could have been up 14-10 going into the half if Cutler had even a decent showing. The playcalling was getting our guys open; Cutler just couldn't make the plays.

Obviously not much you can do when your QB is sailing passes 20 yards long and your defense becomes a sieve. At the end of the day, the players need to actually make plays. Burke and Gase are not the problem. In fact, in the next couple years we're probably going to have to worry about Burke being poached as a HC somewhere.

What the **** does that mean? Everyone is results oriented to some degree. You may as well say you are human. CONGRATS! You can take two different "results oriented" people and they could each make a different decision based on the situation.

lol, the clown. The right process will lead to results. Or you can continue to do stupid things like take piranha baths because it worked last time and you made it out alive.

Regarding my metaphor, who was the smarter person, the person just taking a walk in the park for their leisure activity or the person bathing with piranha's for their leisure activity?

I would certainly dress Doughty and get him snaps in these blowout loses. Nothing is being gained by keeping the starter in for so long. Need to give him some time if you are counting on him being the backup next year.

really disappointed in Gase on many levels.

Before half on the road game is close and you get ball back with 40 seconds. Run out the clock and have a positive going into half time.
Can't get a pass rush at all. BLITZ!! it is not complicated.
For so many plays he ran under center and threw out of shotgun. Defenses can figure that one out pretty quick.
Not under center in goal line completely takes away any hope of play action and or fooling the defense. Weekly I see teams scoring on play action passes in the situation, but not the Dolphins!
All these WR screens ARE NOT working... stop calling the play.
Use a PA to throw deep instead of a WR screen!

Not really complicated stuff to fix.

Terrible example, kiko and branch did not even produce great results last year to warrant their extensions. Tbaum just gave it to them because he liked them.

That was more process than results. So You contradicted your point with that example.

Was referring to the team results. And Branch did have the best year of his career even though he was still below average last year. Still had 10 td's. Kiko was a guy thought to be playing out of position so he got the benefit of the doubt even though it was obvious he sucked. Didnt contradict my own point at all.

    wait and see mode.

I think we have a personal problem but ill wit tis the end of this year to come to conclusions.
