Three straight prime time games Miami was destroyed giving up 112 points while only scoring 45 points, that's an average of 37 points given up per game and scoring an average of 15 points over those prime time games that totally embarrassed the franchise, the players and fans. Theres no question ib my mind this team has given up on Gase, so my question is why hasnt Gase fired anyone? I see no signal from Gase of addressing the issue, unless trading away one of the best players on the team for nothing is a signal. I lived through some rough seasons before but I dont recall a string of really bad games like they had on prime time, theres no fight, no heart in this team and it all comes into the coaching and the team buying into the system. Well Gase its your move.

I wouldn't say given up. I'd say there is so much tape on Miami, and based on their limitations in personnel, not only can teams game plan against them, they can dominate them. I can give two quick examples. When you have zero pass rush, you can pass the ball in the second and third levels without an issue, exposing and maybe making guys like Howard and Alonso look worse than they are. When you don't have any push from your offensive line in pass protection, you allow defenses to cheat up and have zero passing game down the field. The Jets really exposed us in week2 and despite some wins, the formula is quite simple to beat us

-1 yard rushing 1st half, not a great result, I would think the, "process" as some want to go with, is piss poor on a good day, because the end result is LAST.

I heard from a number of fans, on another site, telling me how Gase made Peyton and JC great, lol, DA.

Also our D is getting tore up, but that is to be expected, we had one of the worse DC's last year in VJ, who by the way is on the hot seat, but who did we replace him with, the worse unit's coach on the team. That "process" is now become a result of bad management.

I know we have bad players, but we have really bad coaches and management as well.

NE's LB'ers are in dire shape, yet they kicked the Donkies out of their own stadium, that is a result you get from good coaching.

Your last sentence makes total sense. Are we a team that just has a set of players not fitting into a system, or schemes that are wrong for the players? NE always seems to have "depth," but maybe they are just blesses with players that fit a winning scheme and are the perfect fit

    So CAL
NE only gets players that will fit their system no matter what big name they are and if they don't fit the system and go against master beli cheat they get kicked on the first thing smoking.

We get big name guys and make them change systems and it doesn't work. get players and make the system match them not the other way around

BellyCheat has a much more complicated system the the Dolphins, our system is weak and looks as if we are going to weaken even farther. You have to hire guys that have the intelligence to play at a very complicated level. Why do you think NE has been on top as long as they have. They Study film, then attack weak parts of your game, meaning they have the intelligence to change how they attack week after week.

    I'm over that now, though
They're the team to beat in the AFC again. Just a month ago their defense was in shambles. Now they are back

It absolutely amazes me how people “morons” think that Gase made Peyton Manning great. Peyton Manning made everyone in Denver and Indy look great. Look at how Indy fell apart without Peyton. What was there record, 2-14. Here is how the Gase/Manning conversation went...

Gase: Hey Peyton, I have a system that we are going to run this year.

Peyton: Yeah Adam, that looks cute but look, just set back and enjoy the ride. I call my own plays and you should just take some notes.

I hate the goddamn Pats and Brady. Even if we go 4-12, I would consider this season a success if our defense makes Brady retire.

Literally nothing in your post is true.

And that's coming from someone who thinks Manning is probably the best QB to ever play the game.

You blitz! You do something to get the rush, not the Dolphins.

You throw slants! quick and effective. Not the Dolphins, gotta run those curls and outs.

    coaching coaching coaching.

They blitz often enough, but their blitzes fall flat 99% of the time. And if Wake isn't getting to the QB no one is....It's baffling.

You can't lose that badly in primetime games and blame it all on the personnel.

This falls half on the coaching for lack of preparation and/or motivation of these players. They've practically laid down on national TV like bunch of quitters.

It was a disaster out there, downright franchise embarrassment.

I mean seriously, they gave up almost 200 yards rushing to Payne/Stewart/McCraffrey??? GTFO of here with that. Those cats hadn't done sh*t in the run game all year long. That's a lack of desire/heart and nobody on the coaching staff they're afraid to disappoint.

I am never in this camp, but blow it all up and start over. Very few players on this team that are worth keeping it seems. It appears that the culture from the last 17 years is too far ingrained to weed out a little at a time. Dismantle it and start from a clean slate.
