It looks like all the folks who inspired this post have been banned or suddenly quit posting, but that negativity towards members here who are still rooting for the team was driving me nuts. I thought somebody had to say it anyway.

Lol really Kiko! Wake and Suh have been playing shutdown defense?

Is that why we are 26th in the league at 4.4 yards per rush average? How about 24th in sacks with a meager 17 sacks on the season?

Gase is a bum, losing our starting QB only highlights his ineptitude with play calling and general player personnel use. He went out and got the guy he wanted.

If only he was the worst of our problems.

Tannebaum couldn't have a good draft to SAVE HIS JOB.. on any franchise intent on winning.

The Dolphins are like a car wreck and have been for many years now save the odd one and done playoff one and done like what once a decade?

I dont really care what you think of me as a fan because guess what?? Your eternal optimism annoys me every bit as much as what you call pessimism (more like realism.)

I've been with the Dolphins my whole life as I'm sure 99 if not 100% of you have. As much as your pom-pom waving fandom irritates me I don't stop to lecture anyone individually or as a whole on how to be a fan. The holier than thou "I'm a better fan than you" types are just as irritating to those of us that will honestly critique the team, believe me...

So anyway yeah, for the most part I say blow the whole thing up (again) and start over.

Suh is way overpaid for what he brings.
Wake is about washed up, what's he going on 36 years old next year? I appreciate what he's given us but when it's time to move on it's time.
Kiko flat out sucks if you cannot see I won't even try to explain it to you. Unless you'd like to make a request.
Landry will be a FA that will command a high $, that we will probably outweigh his worth, esp. to a team that needs to rebuild an entire Defense and OL.

I suppose I could go on but why bother. Criticism of the team is foreign language to some fans.

At this point I'm just hoping the Dolphins become consistently competitive before I'm put in the ground. I've all but given up on aspirations of the Lombardi. Cart in front of the horse and all.

I am sure it's much easier being a relative blind cheerleader of the Dolphins. That's not any fun or interactive for me. Why be on a message board for the Miami Dolphins if all you want to do is pom-pom up?

Last but not least. It's almost embarrassing to have a 4-5 record. Not for the reason that you think. We should honestly be 2-7 or 3-6 at best right now. We were extremely lucky early on.

Thanks for allowing me to participate with a rant of my own, do I get a participation trophy?

I read your entire post, twice, just to make sure I wasn't missing anything worth commenting on. Hopefully it felt good for you because I can't make any sense of it. Wake will eventually slow down with age? Landry is going to ask for big money? Suh is overpaid? I'm not seeing anyone here disagreeing with that stuff.

However, throughout the rest of your post you said fire the line, fire the coach, fire the GM, trade Landry, get Wake a wheelchair, fire Kiko, fire Suh...all off of two or three tough games? If that's how a franchise was run, I don't think we'd have enough players to take the field each week. But you rant on, brother man, and keep hating on me. It's no sweat off my back.

I don't think Kiko was particularly good last year either. He's been awful this season. He consistently hits the wrong gaps, is out of position, and can't cover a TE better than grandma. He's a joke and Tannebaum spending money resigning Kiko just highlights how much of a joke he is. Tannebaum giving Suh that ridiculous contract in the first place should raise red flags.

It's like, when will the Dolphins get it? Over-paying for high value FAs is not what wins championships. Strong consistent drafting, and funneling in new players, just as good as the former ones does. The stupid Patriots are the number one perfect example of this. You know how I know Suh isn't worth it? Not a damn team in the league would trade for him. His contract is a nightmare. (Thanks Tannebaum.) If I'm not mistaken he's due to make double the likes of Tom Brady! Insanity!

Jarvis Landry, I love the dude, I even got his jersey, but reality sucks, he will be a FA, he will easily command 10 mil+ (that's probably a low estimate.) The Dolphins can't afford to match contract offers like that with all the holes we need to fill, even if we just tend to HALF of them next year.

We can't afford to "Fire Kiko" after the moronic contract extension he was given, but we can damn sure attempt to replace him as a starter. Not even the Browns would trade for Suh with that nightmare contract.

So, you can't make any sense of my post? It's simple. Tannebaum is a disaster, and should have been fired yesterday, or yesteryear. If he's kept on, I don't even think God can help the Dolphins.

As for Adam Gase, I wasn't a fan when he was hired and his playcalling just reinforced that opinion. I honestly don't care if they keep him on as head coach unless someone great is out there, I haven't really been keeping my eye on other teams as I usually do. But yeah, take the playbook away from him. The guy just seems to have a vastly undeserved Ego.

My main issue is the front office of this team. And I have no faith Stephen Loss has any idea how to fix it, or even if he has the spine to fire people.

Tannenbaum’s tenure with the New York Jets ended with salary cap woes and bloated contracts, and now shocker: Dolphins in same position.
