We ended up picking a top 3 prospect so we cant complain too much about two guys who will be looking for work elsewhere soon..

But lets not get it twisted, we landed Tunsil by the most ridiculous luck the draft has given us in decades. No points for Tannebaum for that..

As a nice topper for this trade, Maxwell will have a 5 mil deadcap hit when he gets cut after the season, the gift that keeps on giving...

although i agree about the luck tannenbaum has to get credit for pulling the trigger unlike the GMs before him and alonso is top five i believe in tackles in the nfl so essentially we got alonso and tunisil and have to take a bite on maxwell's contract. overall a good trade imo. to say it was stupid you would have to know who we were going to target if we didnt get tunisil

Kiko himself was low risk, makes basically nothing and is still really young, Eagles were having a fire sale on Chip Kelly's guys so Miami could've got Alonso for a late round pick. The money we're wasting on Maxwell could've went elsewhere like the OL. Philly basically stole our top 10 pick.

but who were we going to pick with it. i mean we got tunisil so even if you take him out to make a statement like that you have to know who we wouldve drafted if we kept the pick and who we wouldve drafted if tunisil wasnt available but had traded the pick

When you complain about everything and say everything is a bad move, you have to be right eventually.

Maxwell played really good today but lets not forget the other 4 games that he was one of the worst cbs in the nfl.1 game does not make a career but maybe just maybe gase lit a fire under his *** with his cuts last week and he realizes he might be next so better come to work and actually give a little effort.I watched him last year because I live in the philly area and he got paid and it showed.

I'm happy for Maxwell. Highly criticized and he came to play yesterday. Shut down arguably the NFL'S best receiver. Good for him.

Hopefully it's something he can build on.

A POSSIBLE* explanation as to why its taken new players so long to play well, is that they are on a new team and new system. Now I know, lots of players change teams to new systems and acclimate much quicker. The difference here MAY BE* that everyone is on a new system. All the players are learning something new, instead of already being established in a given defense/offense. I would assume its easier for a player to learn a new system if all the other players know their assignments/strengths/weaknesses.

*POSSIBLE/MAY BE: This is in no way saying this is the cause on a definitive level. I am merely saying it could be this or could be even a factor. Nothing definite. These aren't excuses. Its just one theory. Nothing more.

Getting a 3rd from Philly should have been mandatory in any trade negotiations, they probably contacted multiple teams picking in the top 10 and of course we were the only ones dumb enough to let them move up basically for free.

Definitely not a #1 CB but to get 2 starters, one of the best prospects in the draft, and have one of those starters playing as good as anyone on our defense is one hell of a move.

I mean let's not remember some of the major blunders are front office has done in the last 10 years. It feels good to be on the right side of moves for once.

I preached that on another site I was on, right when it happened, another terrible trade, hence why the Dolphins are where they are at....

Kiko, was a crouton yesterday, a badly burnt one at that. Consistently out of position and making most of his tackles 8-10 yards down field. But there are some here that will tell you he's great, wait and see....

Why the **** didn't our scouts see what wentz was and moved up to get him.
The eagles r a first class organization and we are down with the browns and bills who never get it right. We get suckered to move back for.players instead of draft picks.Who does that?
We will never win with these stupid moves.

    No doubt...

I think our problem is the Dolphins organization watches ESPN to get there information instead of doing their own homework, we are NOT loaded with smart players, instead we have players that are loaded, hence Tunsil.

That's the difference between us and NE, BellyCheat gets smart players, one's that can adapt week after week depending on what they are called to do, we have players that can't play nor read a playbook.....

Browns or Bills, the Browns deserve what they get, they have the worse owner in the history of the game, very ignorant when it comes to Football.

Not even sure what happened to the Bildos, their D has taken a dive, not even sure who the QB will be next week.
