Not been value for money over the last month. However, he's not the only one currently - offseason will be interesting to say the least, do you stick or blow it up & get younger/faster/more hungry players?
WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE NUMBERS FROM? Sportstrac has his cap hit this season at $2,850,000 and his dead cap number at ($16,200,000) http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/miami-dolphins/cap/
No. He's actually not bad just has pour coaching. I'd fire Gase, Burke, Secondaries Coach, QB Coach, Cut all QB's (keep T-hill to compete against draft pick though), I don't know the rest.
I would fire Gase and the entire front office. Trade Suh and Tannehill and cut Cutler and Thomas. Then start the rebuild with drafting Darnold and focus on the offensive line. We would need to finish 4-12 this year to have a chance at Darnold but 4-12 is realistic with this team. I would also hire Harbaugh. No way he loses to his brother 40-0.
as much as it would hurt, back to back crappy seasons should be enough that in 2019, we can make some noise
Not Darnold, i think hes going to stay one more year or he needs to he is not NFL ready and he has "Bust" written all over him. seen him live multiple times, he is the same USC qb they always have super talent around him makes him look good, and look at how many of the "top" sc qbs have gone on to have successful careers as a qb, Palmer thats it unless you call sanches butt fumble successful because it will be remember for all time.
It definitely would hurt. But, we need a rebuild. It sucks but I am so sick of our team being on the bottom.
He needs another year but he probably will come out but he will be a bust i only see 2 good qbs in this draft, mayfield and Falk.
if i knew it was a rebuild it wouldn't hurt as bad as this crap show that's on the field this year with all the hype in preseason.
Without a doubt, unless of course you like watching him chasing TE's after they make 20 yard catches, or like watching him make tackles 8-10 yards past the LOS, I mean if you're into that stuff by all means keep him.
well as I don't see the hype with RT as everyone else I really didn't think it would hurt us as bad, I didn't see RT making the playoffs anyway with the schedule etc. I also didn't see every team in the NFL taking a Ish we could have made the playoffs now looking back.
More like hope. It was wearing thin. This would have been a great year for him to step up & consistently put up big games.
If I'm GM, I fix this terrible OL, then LB-Kiko let him go he sucks, but always keep in mind a QB isn't a bad thing to invest in, hit or miss as many of them do, but if you hit a good one.... I'd bounce Pouncey and Bushrod out, move Tunsil to G, he's looking bad right now. LBers, lol what a joke, I would get rid of Kiko on the same bus as Pouncey and Bushrod. The rest are back ups, except for Timmons, who hasn't played great but could start with other good players around him.
If we don't fix this OL, it doesn't matter who you bring in as QB, same result, out for the year or hampered by the 2000 hits you're going to take. We need a good running game, our guys are good on every 10th -15th play.....
