Outside utterly destroying New England and playing spoiler in the AFC playoff positioning I am wondering what people are looking for in the game.

I personally don't want us to win any more games from the simple standpoint of getting a better draft position. However there are some things I want to see in these last few games.

I want to see some of our second team offensive lineman get some reps against New England.

I want to see Leonte Carroo get some reps and I would like to see David Fales get a game or two to start. I really don't want to see Cutler anymore I know we he gives us, I don't want Matt Moore either as he is probably gone next year or should be.

I just don't get rooting to lose for draft position over development of chemistry throughout the players we have on the team.

One is a crapshoot, one can legitimately carry over into next year.

I don't want stupid Cutler turnovers tonight.

Win or lose, regardless of the margin if losing, I don't want to see the team give up or play without passion, especially the defense. That is the most important thing I'm looking for tonight. Also wouldn't mind hitting Brady a lot, wear him down a bit for his playoff run.

The 8 starters from the last two drafts continue to play well and watch closely how they are maturing..

Done with moral victories, either come out like crazed dogs and win the fu##inf game or go back to your lil cubbie homes and figure out if you wanna play with the big boys or your just a paycheck player..

Done acquiring players who don’t care about being champions..

Im ok with draft position. If a team wants a player, they move up. If they have a shot at making the playoffs, would like to witness that. But it doesn't take away from the evaluation of players, and how bad they have been.

If Parker is a bust, which he is, I want to see Carroo and Grant. And if they can't play, Miami needs to address that in the ffseason. If those three clowns can't play, it makes it more than likely Miami will do what it takes to keep Landry. I'm not worried about what it would cost, because Stills had a fair deal.

Better draft position means you have more issues on the team than you think

I don't know about that. I mean you can be real solid on one side of the ball, right and struggle on the other and lose a bunch of games?

I can see that but For example, if we struggle to end the season and play like crap, then we’re going to be questioning more than the players..and will be looking to replace them...

If we win out or get close than it will likely mean thise players are on the upswing and we can look elsewhere to fill holes

totally agree that's an issue. That's why I have said we need to look at the body of the season, esp when we were losing. If we had addressed the weaknesses of this team against Balt last year, and NE and Pitt, we would have clearly addressed the line and qb.

Win or lose all i want is to make sure Brady’s ancestors can feel the pain we put him through tonight. If the guy isnt walking on a limp tomorrow we didnt do our job.

and it's been debilitating drives. 8-10 play drives, converting 3rd downs and in return we go 3 and out like it's going out of style

I could honestly care less about draft position- it's not like we have a guaranteed HOF lock if we pick at #8 but a probable bust if we pick at #11....it's all a crapshoot. And how any Dolphins fan could hope we lose against New England is mind-boggling- I almost hate the Pats more than I love the Dolphins.

We've won three of the last four against NE at home. We played a dominant game on defense last week. Cutler looks like he's finally healed up and the offense is finally starting to click. The stars have aligned for this game and we are going to beat New England.

let's not get carried away. NE is very motivated for this game. What you should hope for is a close game into the 4th, enough of the come from behinds and 20 point deficits.

I agree I don't want to lose this at all regardless of draft status a win against NE and this season isn't a total loss, even better would be some sacks on brady

Why would I hope for that? I'm hoping we run the opening kick back for a TD and then have a pick-six on Brady on their first drive.

Didn't I say a kickoff return for a TD and a pick-six? That has nothing to do with the offense. But even still, Cutler has been back for one week. Drake has been in this offense for a month. The line has greatly improved in recent weeks and our receivers (besides Parker) are making big catches. You want to act like everything is a constant but that's just not true- this is a very young team that's still figuring things out with their QB2 and QB3. Literally anything can happen with a team like that.

no way this happens against the brains of a NE team. The more likely scenario is we hang 10 on their 14

Or maybe you lost a starting QB for the season and had to spend cap space to bring in another guy instead of using that money to patch another hole or two?

I would like to see Gase come into the game having the team prepared to smash the Pats in the mouth instead of trying to just outplay them. Everyone and their brother knows we're outgunned, so I'd like to see us try to even the odds by just playing tougher. Take some chances. Let Cutler air out some deep balls. Bring tons of pressure inside. Go for it on fourth down a few times. Maybe even come out with an early onside kick or a fake punt.

It would be nice to do what Belichick does to everyone else, which is find a weakness on tape and have the balls to exploit it in a game without caring if it blows up in his face.

Bad thing is, is belicheat always takes away what you do good, and since drake has been running well I would assume drake is in for a heck of a night trying to get yardage. I have a hard time seeing anything going good for Miami tonight, specially since pitt squeaked by last night brady will be eager to put Miami away early. but I hope we can bang him up like we did 2 weeks ago and he misses a few more practice next week like he did this week going into pitt. I am a huge steeler fan next week, the superbowl cant go through fox_butthole again.

I didn't think Brady looked good at all two weeks ago- we banged him up pretty good and he was definitely off his game most of the day (the Wake forearm to Brady's nuts was my favorite play of the year BY FAR). We also have Howard coming off his best game of his career and Tank not too far behind last week, so I think they'll be playing with a lot of confidence tonight and delivering huge pressure. The other thing to think about is what do we really have to lose? We know Brady will pick us off in protection so there's no reason to give him that chance. Just light his *** up and take chances....and eventually he'll throw that dumb pass we run back for a score.

The one thing that sucks is this being a Monday night game- it's going to be high 50's/low 60's in Miami (which is very rare). It's been hot as hell down there all month and the stinkin Pats come to town on the one cold snap for a night game. In other words, the NFL benched out 12th man for the week.

heres an interesting stat going into this game too cutler is 0-3 against brady and the pats he has lost by 34, 29 and 28 points in his three tries against the Patriots. not too great of a stat lol.

that would mean the pats cover 11.5 easily hahah

I agree I think we should send 5-6 every freakin down and just light that whole line up, but with Hogan back that might hurt us hahah
