Not really man lol I don’t disagree with everything you talk about, but just try to get along man.. why be so confrontational... it’s all good.. peace man
Tunsil was drafted to be a guard? This guy? https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...est-tackle-prospect-in-the-last-5-nfl-drafts/
well it didn't work. and he was drafted and played guard last year. Miami was stupid enough not to get a tackle or somehow pick up Albert
Possibly because his coach was literally snorting cocaine and sleeping with hookers. Tunsil can and will be a stud.
I understand Dirty's problem. Every team in the NFL has a LT tree growing right outside the practice facility right? Since ours in in Sunny Florida it is the biggest healthiest most fruitful tree in the country obviously. And our stupid coach can't reach the branches where the ripest juiciest fruit is so he keeps picking less ripe immature fruit, the low hanging stuff. So obviously we need to chop the tree down so we can get to that big fat orange way up by the top!
nope. I think you fail to realize this team rolled when he was at G last year and Albert was at Tackle.
weeks 4-5 we lost to Cincy and TN and that was the depths of hell weeks 10-11 were ok weeks. came back and beat LA, but was he Tackle in the Ajayi 200 yard games?
And since that's the ONLY difference between last year and this year it must be the reason we are not undefeated.
Week 4 against Cinci he played tackle Week 5 both Tunsil and Albert were hurt so I was wrong about that week. Week 10 Tunsil played LT: Week 11 he played tackle: Tunsil started all 14 of the games that he played in during the 2016 season. While making most of those starts at left guard, he did start a few games at left tackle when Branden Albert was sidelined with injuries. Tunsil missed the Week 5 game against the Tennessee Titans with an ankle injury that occurred when he slipped in the shower at the team’s hotel the morning of the game. He also missed the Week 12 game against the San Francisco 49ers with a shoulder injury, before returning the following week wearing a band on his shoulder for added support and protection. https://phinphanatic.com/2017/01/19/2016-player-recap-lg-laremy-tunsil/
and we can compare both teams? Ive already said that an elite qb can mask issues. But we don't have an elite qb
I'll be sure to address this with NOAA. I'm sure once they find this out they will be happy to spend a large portion of the budget on getting a LT for the Dolphins. I mean, if that could keep Hurricanes from wrecking Florida. Oh And LT is going to keep Defensive players from getting injured, so that will be awesome. Maybe he could lay hands on the QB's knee after he gets hurt when the C and G get run over. It's no wonder LT's are so hard to get what with all the amazing godlike powers they have.
It makes more sense than blaming it on Tunsil doesn't it? Those are the forces that shaped THIS SEASON.
the team needed Olinemen and a starting qb the minute we played NE and the beatdown by Pitt. Who has an ACL injury and doesn't have surgery? Who has an injury 11/16 and doesn't expect their qb to be out a year? This team lived and died by a line of: Albert Tunsil Pouncey Bushrod James They were an amazing team from the Philbin years with Albert, Pouncey and James. They had no depth barely any starters by the end of that Pitt game. They did nothing to address that. I'll give you the Hurricane, but injuries could have been absorbed with a better offseason.
Nothing wrong with Laremy Tunsil being a left tackle. He's had some mental mistakes, sure. But just watch his feet in pass protection. Those are all pro feet. He floats left to right, right to left. He was a steal in the draft of 2016.
I get the overwhelming sense that dirtylandry will play Madden for six straight hours, then come on here and think he's got all of our problems solved. "Guys, I literally just traded Parker to the Browns for a first round pick. It was seriously that easy. If Gase can't get this done by tomorrow he should be fired. Also, I went to this thing called "the draft" and you can literally just pick as many left tackles as you want. It's ridiculous. I can't believe the Dolphins haven't figured this out. I'm sending in my resume for GM right now."
I'm not so sure. I've been really focusing on his play and he is missing blocking assignments. When they stunt and get through the line almost untouched it's usually been a missed assignment by him.
Jake Long gave up 7 sacks his first 2 seasons combined... Tunsil has given up 5... while playing 2 positions and having a revolving door next to him. The same people complaining that Tunsil is playing poorly and should be a guard were proclaiming us a SB team when we signed Jay Cutler. Ignore their evaluations.
