I'm STILL upset about losing to the Jets. That should never should have happened. Maybe it wouldn't have sparked a turnaround but that loss was just unacceptable to me.

It's unfair that I can only give one like.....HELL YES that's the dream scenario!!!!!! I have never seen Brady look so defeated, so desperate to get on the bus and cruise out of town before. That's not a beating you forget in 3 or 4 weeks.

    So CAL
even if Miami doesn't make it and say Baltimore does, brady isn't ready for that after the beatdown last night. I think we affected him a lot more than we realize, if he is gun shy now he needs to realize he has pitt now, then buiffalo who banged him up last week. So Miami twice in 3 weeks now pitt and buffalo again hes gonna be banged up going into the playoffs and t-sizzle is the last thing he wants to see come jan.

Here's the thing- we lost our QB in week zero. RT ran this offense and essentially coached from the field. So you get Cutler, the silent guy who doesn't even know the offense, and you have a massive drop off. Then we get the hurricane.

Six week later, we still look like crap, we're struggling to get everyone on the same page, and Cutler goes down. Then we ship out Ajayi. Then Williams goes down. And we're rotating pieces like crazy when we never truly had the basic offense down. People are making dumb mistakes, taking dumb penalties because they're just not as prepared as they should be.

There was no answer for Cutler entering the team two weeks before the season- it was a learning curve we had to master. But without the hurricane, I think we get there a lot faster. I think Ajayi listens a little more and remains a Dolphin. I think we win 3 or 4 in that six game losing streak. I think a whole lot changes for the better because we have the reps to figure things out.

But you know what? It just doesn't matter. The hurricane and the injuries did happen. We did lose a few to the refs. And if we're honest, the playoffs really don't matter. They'd be great, AWESOME even. But as good as our defense is, I don't think they can carry us to the Super Bowl this season. Wouldn't it be something though? The ultimate redemption story for the ages?

But for me, I'll take three more hard-fought games and call this year a success. We had so much to overcome....more than any other team in the league by a country mile....and we still beat the Pats that badly last night. I'm good with that.

The most important thing about the Patriots win was momentum. This is a team that played in a playoff atmosphere at the end of the regular season last year. They're in the same atmosphere again. I think they can rally again. Beyond everything, we've at least got something to play for in December. It's usually over after a 5-game losing streak, but we still have a shot.

CB Xavien Howard, 92.0 overall grade
The second-year player out of Baylor played his best game as a pro on Monday night and his grade would’ve been higher if not for a defensive pass interference in the first half. After an up and down season, Howard shined in coverage against the Patriots. He was targeted six times and did not allow a catch, while also notching two interceptions and a pass break up. Howard has been on fire the last two weeks, only allowing two catches on 15 targets with four interceptions and four pass break ups.

just my opinion but maybe they should be pissed off instead of celebrating after the win (relatively speaking)..pissed off that their prolly not gonna make the playoffs, not acting like a regular season win is a superbowl victory...no?

Thats just not true Key, lose 3 more against those teams tells us that all we got out of last nite was a let down game by the pats.

That is what happens when coaches allow their players to do what they do best. We have X, Tankersley and hopefully a healthy return of Lippett next season shaping up to be a nice trio of tall ball-hawking CBs. Just teach Tank to be a liiiittle less handsey and Lippett to be more physical and I'd bet they would thrive in a press scheme.

Oh, I completely agree...I really do think we'll go 2-1 or 3-0. But I know last night wasn't a letdown game....that was our D playing their best and our offense playing pretty good overall. If we can get that execution three more times this season, the only thing I think that can beat us is the snow in Buffalo.

Again though, we lost Tannehill, McMillian, we had the hurricane, etc.....this year was a bust before it ever got started. So to even be thinking about the playoffs at this point is amazing in my book.
