We have 2 games left what does everyone want to see... I honestly would like us to not get anyone hurt, drake, landry, suh wake etc. and I would like us to lose both games, if we lose both we would be looking at a top 10 pick, if we win both we would be most likely around are normal 13-18 pick range. thoughts and predictions?
No injuries is a given. I hope they win both games. I think they'll win 1. Losing the last two will do more harm than good for the morale of this team. Ending the season on a good note is worth much more than 5 spots in the draft. Going 6-10 or 8-8 will probably not help us in the draft. Meaning, drafting 10th or 13th isn't that big of a difference.
true, but that pick could turn into a 15+ at 8-8 or it could be an 7-9 pick that's the thing, and that's a big difference if we are striving for o-line or top LB. Morale would hurt for sure if we lose to kc what would it hurt to save everyone and see what the backups have against buffalo, ya know?
The main thing I'm looking for is seeing more growth from our younger players- Grant, Drake, Howard, Tank, etc. Let them go into 2018 knowing that they can make a difference and change a game with big plays. I'd also like to see Cutler have an amazing game against Buffalo so he can "go out on top" (mainly so he'll just go). Other than that, just bring us two wins and I'm happy. KC looks like a genuine threat this season so that's almost our Super Bowl v.2...and we've already won our first one. I think we will play up to the competition in both games and eek out a 2-0 record to close the year out, while watching someone else bump us out of the playoffs in week 17. And hey, I'm good with that....8-8 is acceptable for this ugly, ugly season. But even if we do end up at 7-9, I think I'd be okay with that too as long as we get Cutler a gift basket on the way out. The big thing for me is that we're two more games away from having Tannehill and that's the single-best improvement this team can make in 2018. Then we get to see how all the pieces really fit together.
We are going to get blown out tommorow and then turn around to end the bills playoff chances the following week.7-9
Oh crap, this isn't official?!? Then why in the hell are any of us posting here?!? I feel so embarrassed now...
LOL, it's very possible that you're right. It's impossible to make predictions with Cutler in there since we have no idea who's going to show up. We could blow them out or get blown out...anything's within the realm of possibility.
What I'd like to see from the last two games is the team competing and showing that it's going in the right direction for next season. Ideally I'd like to see some of our young players given greater playing time but with us still having a chance (cue Jim Carrey Dumb and Dumber scene) I think we'll stick with our veterans and try to win with them. As for us winning or losing out, it really doesn't matter whether we win both, win one, or lose both. Why? Because as long as we show a competitive spirit and play good complimentary football, then the result doesn't matter as long as we play them close and compete. In all likelihood we aren't playing in January, so if we can improve our draft position that might be more beneficial to us than two extra wins in what will be yet another meaningless mediocre season like we had under Philbin.
No injuries to key players/possible trade chips. And i just want to see who has given up and who is still trying to win. That says a lot about a players character.
No doubt and I don't think the chiefs are world beaters but I just don't see us winninig 2 in a row.I am convinced the bills are going to choke in Miami and make it 19 years in a row with no playoffs.
I just want to see these guys continue to cement their places going forward: Smith Drake Grant Howard Tank Harris
Sorry, not going to be able to guys. I have WAAAAAYYYYY too much on my plate today. Santa's contracted elves went on strike so I have to crack some skulls to finish up for Christmas lmao.
you call a time out before half to call those plays? have there been any penalties on the Chiefs defense? Why does it take Burke 1.5 quarters to realize he needs to blitz?
