Doesn't matter, he didn't need to breakdown his progression example to a tee because YOU DONT NEED TOO! I'm not going to make you understand this, so why not leave it alone? I was told you can't make a progression assumption w/o 10 other variables on that play......that is the point, that point has been laughably debunked. Changes nothing, ya'll gonna ya'll....but I'd be lying if I didn't throughly enjoy my point being proven.
Classic. YOU bring it up, then accuse me of bringing it up because I responded. Nice try. The fact is, and listen closely because this is important, you got pushback because YOU OFFERED NO PROOF. That is the point. You made a controversial statement, gave no proof, and got had when you were questioned. Your point wasn't proved, because Travis gave video proof of what he was seeing AND he broke down what he was seeing so we could all read it. You did neither.
Sigh. It is amazing really. You think you were questioned because you said something negative, which is proven by you being dumbfounded that no one cared about the nice things you said. While that should be FURTHER proof this has never been about people not liking negative things said about Thill, you still cling to that as the reason you get questioned. Then on top of it all, you pull the same **** with a guy who actually does know what he's talking about and post evidence, in two different threads in two different forums.
Actually said Id bet $5. But you are also ignoring the entire point. Pretend my situation never existed, and Shame came in like "bro, you don't even know the pre snap reads or route concepts to say Ryan goes through his progressions well" How would you react? And again, I was asked by Cbrad to give MY OPINION on a set of games that he could use for experimental purposed, I did that an simply relayed what I saw. An par for the course is that despite the credit I gave him, one thing was perceived as a negative and turned into making this thread start to look like what the mains have looked like over this crap for a few years now. And that is not a good thing.
Stop, this is not a good look for you right now. Travis posted something about a QB going through his reads, the whole fire starter earlier was all about someone not being able to do that w/o 5 other variables. It is really that simple, his post was just fine, I agree with it.....but if I didn't I wouldn't attack it or endorse attacking it for reasons that do not exist. And that my friend,is the difference.
No it wasn't. It was about specifically you, FIN-O, not being able to do it. And instead of of backing up your claims, you wilted and resorted to insults and circumventing, per usual. And you attack posts you don;t agree with all the time.
If you think I was the aggressor in starting this, then I don’t know what to tell you. And rather I can tell you the route concepts or not, it still had zero to do with coming to the conclusion that a guy moves on from his first read.
Even if we want to call it reputation based, I could live with that. Travis puts in about 300x more work into a given play or game than I do. But in this dude’s case, he doesn’t know me from Adam, he is new and just decided to stir the pot.
I didn't say you were the aggressor in this or not. I was pointing out that you do, in fact, attack posts you disagree with which you said you don't. You were asked about route concepts to see if you knew what you're talking about, because you provided no proof of anything...repeatedly.
I just dont get how some people still fail to acknowledge the signifance of how much the Patriots cheating plays a major role in their prolonged success. Its quite obvious that cheating/winning are synonymous in New England. Its impossible to stay this relevant for this long in professional sports without an unfair/illegal advantage playing a major role. I dont care how good Brady or Belichick are at their craft, its not possible without cheating and I honestly believe they're still doing it.
Yes, he is. He initially makes an assumption that Travis didn't factor things into his breakdown, then eggs by saying that his breakdown was right even though he didn't factor things in. Yet, he doesn't know if he did it didn't factor them in. Read my response to Dan. How would I react? Is he talking to me? I would agree, I don't know presnap reads. Is he talkingng to Travis? I'd ask for his proof that Travis is reading things wrong. Yes, you posted an opinion. People asked what gave you that opinion. You said, watching film. Then, naturally, the question was for some plays that show that, and that happen enough that you can conclude it's a consistent problem.
another reason is why is Robert kraft at the chiefs game with the commish? there's just too many coincidences that happen to follow the pats and no one else. it will blow up at some point I mean the nfl can only hide stuff for so long I would assume. Theres just no way a professional sports team can be on top for 15+ years with never having the highest payroll and still winning, I agree it is still going on and the commish is covering for his younger brother for some reason. Maybe kraft gave goodell a lifetime supply of cheese who knows.
We will see. When Tannehill’s NFL career is over and he has nothing to show for it, we will see who’s talking...
at this point with the RT stuff there seems to be a left and right no middle, so all we can do is talk about this next yr about this time when we go are same 8-8, or less we should have a tough schedule next yr so Im with you, RT will just be another qb dolphins fans "HOPE" for and will be a nice backup somewhere in 3 years. If he proves me wrong he proves me wrong but only RT will tell his fate. I see a no playoff win qb going off into his retirement.
I didn’t even know you allowed to do this in the TOS? Mods? If so, game on lol you may have just opened Pandora’s box here
Most these guys probably loved Henne, Beck, Lucas, etc., and if they didn’t, it was because he didn’t have a hot wife or they didn’t want to personally date the QB themselves.
I am a big fan of Tannehill. I hated Chad Henne. He never had it. What I find funny is that most people who dislike Tannehill were huge fans of Henne.
Not me.... haven’t liked any of em, still don’t, we are settling for mediocrity, that’s how bad QB play has been in Miami until Tannehill who’s average and overhyped now because he isn’t horrendous like the other guys.
My app runs through realism. Your app is rainbows and unicorns. Why don’t you pluck out play #56 in Week 17 in 2014 to prove to me Tannehill is Elite. Lmao I’ll show you play #34 in Week 9 Of 2015 and show you why Brock Osweiler is Elite. Lmao “Look at this throw, hold on fellas, let me go fap to this real quick, brb” lmao
You could be absolutely 100% right- but the Patriots allowed us to have that shred of doubt with 20 years of DeflateGate and it's going to be hard to tell the naysayers otherwise. Then again, if you know your footballs are missing air and you could get into big trouble if the other team realized it, wouldn't you be adamant about ball protection as well? Here's the other thing I think about though. Every single play, a referee picks up the ball and spots it at the new LOS. How is it that we've never had a ref question the pressure of the ball mid-game? Why did it take an official league complaint to get a halftime investigation in a playoff game? So to me, it goes past the Patriots cheating...it's a league that let them cheat.
Goddamn is this getting petty. If you're going to go after each other can you squeeze in a few jokes?
hahah i say that all the time everyone was so high on henne too lol Being from CA I would rate RT wife a 7-8 im sure in Miami it has to be the same in the Midwest a 9-10 lol
I both disagree with that opinion and disrespect it. As anyone who think they are the same do not know anything about what it means to play quarterback in the NFL. of course that is just my opinion
Yeah, no. There is actually a middle and it is the side you argue against. Very few of the people that argue with you about Thill are acting like he's all world. All they are saying is your analysis is inaccurate and without merit. When there is accurate negative analysis, there's never an argument. But saying he's below average is demonstrably false, based on every legit metric.
your right how many pro bowl does he have? how many playoffs games? how many playoff games won? once again your opinion against mine
well in 3 years when the same chad henne talk diminished will happen to RT so its really based off what you believe if you believe he is the holly grail ultimately that's your opinion but if they both have the same careers then I guess that ends the argument. with time to still change it on RT part its doable but as set to be careers look very similar to me, a 8 yr project that doesn't pan out which ultimately we move on from.
you have no idea what I know or don't know, so like I said a million times if you want to base a qb off 1 yr of stats then that's on you. and in 3 years when we move on from RT if not sooner than I will personally come back and demand an apology from you which you will argue with some other opinion you have, however if rt pans out as soooooo many believe then im man enough to admit my wrongs on the situation. So be ok with an 8-8 team and a avg qb and you will b excited for a wild card loss however I am no person to accept mediocrity.
Henne has never been as successful as Tannehill. Tannehill's career is already better. I don't believe Tannehill is the holy grail. I am all for dumping Tannehill if we can get the next Peyton Manning, however, most quarterbacks that have been told to me who are better, I do not agree. I do not agree that Carr is significantly better than Tannehill or Luck or Wilson. I think with all those players we have the same problems on the team and have the same playoff record. I think with Henne, Miami is significantly worse than they are with Tannehill, because Henne was not a good quarterback. He would need a Blake Bortles situation to succeed. Blake Bortles being a quarterback that Henne could not beat who, in my opinion, is worse than Tannehill. IMO, Tannehill is not a drag on the team. Henne was. I would love to get a better quarterback than Tannehill. I do not think it would be easy as he is a pretty good quarterback.
Oh effing stop it. You flat out just used: - Pro Bowls - Playoffs - Playoff wins ...as QB stats. Your stance and the ideas behind them aren't a mystery. You are applying the wrong things to Thill and that is why you've come to the conclusions you have. If you have deeper knowledge that i don;t anything about, it is because you've hidden said knowledge and choose to instead spout nonsense.
Before the game The ravens said the exact same thing. They told Rich Gannon last year, Ryan Tannehill struggles if his primary read is taken away. Then they embarrassed him. This was said by Gannon during the game. So, because the Ravens said so, is perhaps a better answer.
https://www.si.com/mmqb/2016/01/05/...-deflategate-fumbles-tom-brady-bill-belichick And which numbers are you using for fumble rates of players post-Patriots? Pull them up for us to discuss. If you are using Sharp's numbers, don't bother. If you aren't, good for you. From what I've seen, fumble rates of Patriot players actually improve after they leave the Patriots except for one player, Benjarvious Green Ellis. He alone brings the entire average down. The fumble allegation doesn't hold water when you dig through it. If you slice it from 2012-2014, they're not even the best NFL fumble rates (2012-2014) Team Fumbles per 100 plays Ravens 1.05 Saints 1.14 Patriots 1.21 Falcons 1.23 Browns 1.30 NFL Average 1.63 This guy fixes all of Sharp's errors http://insidethepylon.com/football-.../26/fumbling-data-truth-patriots-fumble-rate/ They go from 130 touches per fumble, to 107. Yes a decrease, but not a crazy one. And that entire decrease is due to the Law Firm. Removing just him, these former patriots fumbled once every 102 touches on the Patriots, and once every 109 touches after leaving the Patriots. I'll let Cbrad work with the stats to tell us whether that is proof of anything or whatever. But that isn't a pattern. That's one player. Just a little perspective. Leaving BJGE in, just 4 more fumbles by these patriot players, over 112 games (7 seasons), 2,500 touches, and their pre/post Patriot fumble rates would be identical. Just 4. The fumble rate is just noise.
I don't really care what the Ravens said. I wasn't even the one asking the question. The question was being asked of Fin-O specifically.
