Individual players in all sports will cheat. When they do, they need to be punished. I would personally like to see PED users punished more harshly than they are, including Dolphins players should they be guilty. Kick them out for the season for one offense, permanently for a second. As long as it's enforced evenly and fairly for all players on all teams. Cheating by teams, coaching staffs, or worst of all the league itself is so much worse. It may not be the perfect analogy, but to me it's the difference between a minimum wage employee at a store lying to a customer about something while trying to make a sale or be lazy , vs the store management team executing a plan to defraud all of their customers. The first is wrong, and action needs taken. The second means that the whole business is garbage.
If the dolphins weren’t around, 5 years ago I would’ve said my second team was the ravens given all the great UM canes players they had drafted. But I’m so sick of them beating us all the time now I would say I the Chargers, packers, or the eagles if they beat New England.

There was no defense of Jones. I was defending the intent. Jones bought a LEGAL supplement and took some of it. He then found out AFTER THE FACT that it had a banned substance contained within. He was suspended and I had no qualms with that. The Pats KNOWINGLY cheated. They KNOWINGLY break the rules. They PURPOSELY kept doing it and then broke a different set of rules. Over and over. The only person defending anyone is you defending Brady and Belichick.

Always interested when someone has a NFC team in front of a division rival, especially one who hasn't won anything in a LONG time. What puts Dallas up so high? Are you from Texas originally? Or do you just hate all of the national attention that they get? Despite all of the TV love, the only NFC teams who have gone longer without a trip to the conference title game are Detroit and Washington.
Hate the Pats on a 1A Level.... Bills and Jets are 1B.... the rest of the NFL is 2..... And I will root for any 2 playing against 1A or 1B. I will root for 1B when playing 1A.... And that’s my list. On who I root for when Dolphins aren’t playing? Productive members of my fantasy football teams from that year. I will root for their individual success and if it leads to success for their teams, so be it.
My hate is based mainly on the behaviour of the fans. So for me Jets and Philly by a country mile. I get annoyed with fan bases that get smug and arrogant when they have a good run, so Pats, Dallas, and Pitt get some hate from me. The Minnesota, GB, Jacksonville and Tennessee fans I have come across have all been pretty cool, so they’re on my favorite list.
I think it's the national exposure, the arrogance, the hokey 'America's team' thing. Don't know why, but they annoy me more than even the Bills.

Patriots are top of my list. I have a bin that contains Jets, Bills and Ravens as 2nd tier teams I hate. Bills lead that tier if I had to pick one. Don't really dislike any other teams. As far as teams I root for when they are not playing for us - easy 2nd spot for Giants. Been a fan since the days of LT and that great defense. I have rooted for Packers since ARod came on board, but never rooted for them during the Favre era If I had to pick an AFC team, it would be the Chiefs. Been a fan of the franchise since the days of the Nigerian nightmare, Derrick Thomas I find myself rooting for the Steelers at times, but that's more because I always feel they have the best shot to get homefield to dethrone the Cheatriots.
Sorry, I gotta go with Simon on this one. I know I'm one of the more elder members here and as such, my hatred of the Cowboys goes back to the 70's when they defeated Miami in the Dolphins' first Super Bowl appearance. Besides, they were dirty players that never seemed to get penalized. The Cowboys were in essence, the Patriots of the 70's
