I wonder what QB could pull this off during a game? Toss a lob pass out to the empty side of the field (in a man coverage) and run to catch it? Maybe Marcus Mariota is working on this right now? :)

He was lucky nfl refs didn't have a chance to review the catch. Who knows what would have happened then.

Have a police siren go off and Vick would beat Jones by 100 yards

Good for him but odd that a safety holds this record.

With his amazing speed I’d like to see what Jakeem Grant could do. He probably wouldn’t be able to throw it far enough

I was thinking, "Wait a second....he bobbled the ball and didn't secure the catch until he was 35 yards downfield! We've been robbed by even more refs in Miami!" But then you'd get some jackass who throws a 1 yard pass and tips it 271 times to make a 300 yard catch- so I'm glad Guiness has more sense than the NFL on what constitutes an actual catch!

I thought the same thing- you'd think players would be lining up to beat that record left and right with Guinness already there. I'd think 45-50 yards would be the sweet spot for that record. Jones slowed down to catch the ball so clearly he could have gone a few more yards at least with a better throw.

Agreed thats why i think a guy like Vick, Marriota and heck definitely Lamar Jackson can get that record.

Tom Brady’s pass only needs to travel one singular yard to beat the record -__-

    Ain’t that right refs?

On another note, this seems tailor made for Ryan Tannehill to beat.... heal up
