Yes, but Henne has to place that throw higher or more to the outside shoulder of the TE.

 

No in spite of Peele's lame attempt he really shouldn't have thrown that ball. The defendere was right in front of Peele

 

3 games...1st turnover, if we can keep it like that we'll be in good shape.

 

Well yeah it was a piss poor effort by Peele but Henne has to get that ball up high. Peele really had no chance to catch unless he stole it from the corner. He definitely could have knocked it down so we'd still get 3 but imo, he had no chance to catch it. Henne needed to get it up a little higher and use Peele's height advantage. Not putting all the blame on Henne... just putting things in perspective.

 

Henne thinks he can get the ball in there, like most confident gunslinger QBs.

Saw the pick. I've got to agree that is more on Peele than on Henne. Peele has to make more of an effort to come back for the ball.

I'm liking the Bess/Henne combo, though.

 

Yep. Henne has really nice touch but he didn't on that pass.

 

Can't complain about turnovers at this point.

I think Henne will learn not to make the pass like that. I'm sure he would be the first to tell you he should have thrown it high and more towards the back of the endzone.

He's got the mental makeup, and the arm thats for sure.

 

As he should! I just hope he's telling him he also could have thrown it better but not every throw can be perfect so Peele surely deserves an earfull.

 

Nat Moore makes a good point. Peele also ran the route wrong.

 

I've seen cats like him make teams just on effort, they just have the motor to fill in anywhere, and make plays, dudes like Gary Reasons, DeOssie...they just muck and dig and fill in holes..

Well Ozzy..until a Qb plays with his guys for awhile, that throw is sort of a wing and a hope...now Henne knows that Peele will not fight for that ball in that play.

Yet Henne is zeroing in on Bess...Hmmm...

BTW, how far has Wilford fallen....

 

He's fallen to the I suck so bad that I'm only the roster because of my signing bonus category.

 

That's the guy, just a sort of 100% effort, not the best athlete, just sticks their nose in places and does what is asked of them sort of player.
