If Landry is gone this year, what will the WR corp look like next year?

How would you adjust the WRs?

Would you draft a strongst WR high up? If so who, or how high? Or would you plan to run with what we have?

Stills had success from the slot. So do you keep him there?

The new OC said he likes Grant, should we expect to see him starting out wide?

Assuming Parker is available, where do to place him?

What other WRs would feature for you?

Or do we see a lot more TE play?

What do you think the Dolphins receiver corp looks like next year?

Get a decent TE in the draft or FA. Let him be the short range safety blanket then let the WRs do WR stuff.
I like Stills, Grant and Parker for outside stuff. Carroo has shown some flashes of being a tough slot WR.

I really like Landry’s effort as a player, but the numbers just don’t show that much productivity. He’s like the golfer with a perfect swing who struggles to hit 200 yards on his drives, he looks better than he produces.

If James Washington is there in the 2nd round then, yup, all over that pick; otherwise, Trey Quinn in the 4th. Huge value if he is there.

Yes, a great receiving TE like Gesicki would help. This may also be the year that Duarte steps up and claims a roster spot and some significant snaps.

If we draft the Baker then I would definitely snag Mark Andrews if he is there in the 2nd round.

If the rest of the NFL sleeps on Donte Moncrief, then grab him on a low cost low risk deal, and use Stills and Grant more in the slot, but I would still draft a WR.

if he leaves I think you roll with the three guys you have, Grant, Stills and Parker should all be better players next year, keep developing Drew Morgan, and upgrade the tight end position to make up the difference.

I know we are all Fans but come of folks....

Love Landry and feel he's our most dependable player. The fact that our team is so far from being ligit that is upper group that we could have a young duper and clayton, Hell Warfield or Jerry Rice for that matter, and we aren't going anywhere. How many years do ya need to see this going in circles.
Until the FO wakes its azz up and starts a true rebuild and in my opinion a Norwell,Nelson Price or Hernandez or Wynn and Ragnow ARE actual name of players who could truthfully begin the positive growth to developing into a real team...
The best WR out there now if we miraculously acquired would not change enough to put us into being real contenders.......But WE MADE THE PLAYOFFS....lol

I mean are people this naive to seeing the same crap for almost 20 years and still thinking theres a shot at genuine quality..... We are as clueless as T-bomb and the FO for thinking so incorrectly.

Hate to jump on a dead horse but you guys seem to need it
OL OL OL OL OL OL or crap house...again and again and again....and not one or two

    Super TE...come on...

again Norwell or Pugh or Stills...One a must
draft Nelson or get TWO, Price, Hernandez,Wynn, Rag, McGlinchey...
We do this and atleast we are on the right road and facing in the right direction. Do the WR TE focus and were still stuck on the circle...

Totally my thoughts as well. You don't need to give Landry's 112 catches to one guy. We need to improve the TE position without question.

I would personally love to see Parker and Stills with 70-80 catches each (only about 10 to 20 more than last season), then a TE with 60-70 also (20-30 more than Thomas last season), Drake with about 50 (20 more than last season), and give Grant a chance at 50 too (40 more). And going by last seasons totals (which are below average), that still leaves 50 or so catches to be spread around to everyone else.

Its been said Landry is like an extension of the running game, well, id like to see what drake can do in the slot and catching out of the backfield to make up some of those reps, also like you said, lets address the tight end issue and get him a real pass catching threat, I'm sure both can get to landrys average.

Landry career averages about 64 yards a game. How about a little over five touchdowns a year and only seven catches over forty yards in four seasons. What about a straight up trade for Norwell?

We have nine WR's on our current roster excluding Landry. My point is why waste another pick on WR when we have other needs? A Landry trade would make sense you give a disgruntled employee what he wants and get a player who would make our team better.Let these young receivers fight it out to see who can replace Jarvis.

I agree with the consensus- draft a TE early and then spread those passes out among our current receivers. I think you need to see Grant and our other 2nd string receivers in action a lot more anyway since they bring a lot of different options- we're still waiting so see if Carroo is the Landry-like stud they think he is. So we may not need any additional receivers at all outside that TE slot.

One of the best scenarios (outside of Landry agreeing to long term deal for $12 mil per year) would be to get a second rounder for him, draft a pass catching TE in the second, and hope the other guys step up? Anyone really want to depend on Parker? I don't.

I'm good with a WR corp of good but not great players, it makes it harder to stop the passing attack really when you can't just double one guy. I just think we need to add a proven/vet WR. What about making an offer to Amendola? At least create some friction by offering him $6 mil per year versus the $4 mil per year the Pats will offer. As a #3 WR he would continue to be a real weapon, even away from New England.

There is also Sammy Watkins, but he probably wants $9-10 mil per year and has not stayed healthy or proven himself as a true #1 WR. We can keep hoping Parker will emerge for less money.

I agree that the Landry catches need to be spread around, though getting Amendola would mean giving him the lions share of those, followed by the TE.

    So CAL
If Landry leaves, then we need a jump in and succeed tight end, landry is RT comfort blanket and with out him and or a TE that can come in and be that RT is going to struggle, whether or not RT is the guy Landry is a huge key to RT so I think they need to make a move for a proven tight end not a college guy who is going to need a few yrs to step up.

I like fumaglai outta wiscy but I don't know if his draft stock will allow us to get him just have to wait and see.
