Houston -8 PWR tell me I’m wrong. I know LAC are overachieving and there was bad blood so they would play hard but Blake is gone so the bad blood isn’t there.

There’s other lines tonight I like more but this one looks good to me.

Clint Capela and Eric Gordon are back from injury.
Clippers are playing their 2nd game of a tough back2back.
Austin Rivers finally plays against Chris Paul and James Harden.
    Houston hates Austin Rivers.

    Rockets win by 18.
This will move Harden, Paul, and Capela to 31-1 on the season. Average margin of victory has been 14 points.

Whiteside is one of the dumbest and laziest players I’ve ever seen. So much talent wasted.

What a wasted opportunity today. No defense, no effort at all.

Didn’t Carmelo at least give effort every night though? Whiteside sometimes looks like he doesn’t even want to play. So disgusting for a max player.

I wasn’t referring to Carmelo. I mean how many do you want me to name? Right now it’s Noah...there’s at least a dozen more over the last decade

Whitesides peaked and I think he’s cool with it. He’s got his contract.

Give Bam the start and the minutes.

Amare was always hurt and never played D. He was a max player
Marbury was a ballhog and could play D but often didnt.
Eddy Curry was a near max player...just awful all around.

Im sure theres a few im missing but the knicks love to give near max money to overrated or underperforming players or players the casual fan hasnt even heard of. Thats more their speed.

3..? He's been better than LBJ and Curry 3 of 4? I'd still take Durant over him.

2016-17: Harden finished second to Westbrick. Harden was 2nd in points and led the league in assists. Harden got the 3rd best record in the NBA (no superteam); Westbrick was a 6 seed. Robbery #1

2014-15: Harden finished 2nd to Curry. Harden led a bunch of scrubs that are no longer in the NBA to the 2nd seed. Goofy Dwight missed 42 games that year, but he sucked anyway. Curry and his superteam got the 1 seed. Harden averaged 27 PPG, 6 rebs, and 7 assists. Curry averaged 24 points, 4 rebs, and 8 assists. Harden was the first ever player voted MVP at the players only awards. The players got it right. Robbery #2

The guy finished 9th in MVP voting in 2015-16....and the idiot voters left him off all the all-NBA teams. First time that has ever happened in history.

Like I said, it would not shock me at all if he was robbed again this year.

    Line tonight is Houston -8.0

    Game is in Houston.

Earlier this year Harden played the Celtics without CP3 and Clint Capela. Rockets only had 7 guys available and signed Gerald Green off the streets 1 hour before the game. Harden had the Rockets winning by 26 points thru 2.5 quarters, then he turned into Westbrick by turning the ball over and bricking every damn thing. Celtics came back and won the game by 1 point.

CP3 and Capela are back this game. I would say that makes a HUGE difference. If Harden starts turning into Westbrick, CP3 will take over.

Rockets win by 13. That moves Harden, Capela, and Paul to 32-1. Average margin of victory is 14 points.

My patience paid off and got them at -7. Also took Harden O 30.5 and Capela over 11 boards. Curious what they have DWade at.

    Let’s Go Houston!

Now that is Heat basketball. Defense first. This is the highest scoring season in nba history, its refreshing to see us get back to the roots of what the Heat have always stood for. Got to keep playing that wayz

Also kind of bittersweet because I like SVG, but we may very well had put the nail in the coffin on his coaching career in detroit. He is getting fired at seasons end.

    Takeaways from last night:

    1. James Harden still has problems in big moments. Turnovers, near turnovers, missed FTs. He's also good for a 9 TO game in the playoffs.

    2. The Blazers are pretty good. They're not a contender and could use a couple pieces like a 2-way wing, but that backcourt is explosive. They got solid performances oro of their bigs which is all they need to win games.

    3. Dwyane Wade looks like he's gotten in good shape since he came back. That was a priority for Riley and it's paying off. Hopefully we can get him back to the playoffs this year.

    4. Lonzo Ball certainly has the confidence for the big shots, even if he's not necessarily the most talented on the floor.

    5. Cleveland has problems. I still don't think any team in the East can take out LeBron, especially once they get Love back, but they're done long-term.

I was just joking man. I don't want anything. I always bet Rockets games too. I lost some money last night, but I am not even mad. I am up thousands on the season with them. It has been a good season.

I underestimated the Celtics. That is the best team in the east. It is not even close. I was highly impressed last night. That #1 defense is legit.

I watched the game and he was terrible down the stretch. Hesitant, bricking threes, and throwing the ball away. Having your two best players on the floor gives your other players more room to operate and it was clear that Ariza and Gordon were the heroes. Both hit big shots and Ariza's defense was key. What I'm saying is that having them on the floor is definitely going to make the team perform better, even if they aren't the ones elevating their games.

We have to take care of business against the suns. As Pat Riley used to say, being a professional means winning the games youre suppose to win. The suns are a dreadful team, take them serious and get that W.

The nba needs to loosen up the rules for defensive plays. This league has become a layup drill. Every day theres a score on the board that looks like something from an all star game. No one gives a **** about defense anymore?
