I agree but is RT a guy you really want someone to learn from? I mean his style has changed and Miami lack of confidence or the lack of allowing the audible do you want a guy to learn that too?

its funny how everyone thinks RT did this for the team, he did this to garuntee he is with this team for 2 years, he does not restructure and he sucks this year hes let go, now no matter what the odds of him leaving before 2020 is tough.

I think Mayfield was very intriguing to Miami in the beginning, when he was slated as a top 15 pick as opposed to a top 6.

Now? Not really worth it to give up all those picks imo.

I don't think Rodgers "learned" much from Favre. I think Gase would be doing the teaching. But yes, RT as a veteran, would have some knowledge to pass.

I think there are some very realistic scenarios in which Mayfield falls to 11.

Whomever is the backup will be learning from Gase.

Now if Ryan’s work ethic rubs off on whomever?? We should be excited.

have you watched how Rodgers throws and scrabbles and its an image of favre, how many people have been top tier qbs w unorthodox throws off the back foot falling away. I would say Rodgers learned a lot from favre im sure neither would admit it lol

telling people to enjoy their practice squad checks when they succeed, ya that's what I want a new qb to follow. maybe johnny football could be a mentor as well in your eyes lol

im just messin with you, its just funny how no one ever notices or talks about the bad except for players they done like. RT said it and that's not going away whether you believe it or not.

Its still possible that they go that route. I'm just saying that it feels like its less likely now. At the very least making an effort to move up to grab a QB in rd 1 seems greatly reduced. Now if they believed that it was going to take 2 years of Mayfield sitting on the bench before he could be a legit starter, then this would have been the perfect move...

Practice squad guys screwing with a practice, and the problem you have is Tannehill making an annoyed comment.

But I bet you'll be psyched if we can land Mayfield.

That's what we all want, a QB with a killer instinct. I'm sure that practice squad player had a family too.
