So the new draft caps have been promoted a lot recently with the Miami cap posted in the uniform tweak thread. All the teams' caps can be found here:

Each team "with their own custom slogan" it says. Which makes me wonder who was responsible for the Dolphins' foray into mind-bending creativity.

    Go Fins.

    Really?

    That's a custom slogan?

"Go [insert team name]" might be the least customised slogan on planet earth.

It might be one of the few things more utilised than...

Oh but I suppose those were all 'custom' dabs?

    Go Fins.

Fins. Fins. Couldn't even get that right. Shouldn't it be Phins, you know, short for 'Dolphins'?

Or hey, if you wanted to use 'Fins' then maybe, Fins Up? Because, hey, it's a Dolphins slogan and as such would be more unique... more "custom"?

    Geez.

    Go Fins.

I suppose it's better than "Phinally."
    Or "La Fin."

Or maybe not. A little self-deprecating humour is always fun. Imagine a new draft pick wearing a cap saying, "C'est Fini."

    :)

I guess I am alone, but I think the Patriots quote is pretty dumb.

Nope. It's definitely dumb. Case of trying to hard I think.

What should the Patriots' slogan really be?

    We Old?
    Old Boys Club?
    Tom Boys?

A cleverer one might have been Bellicose.

Most of them are stupid. What likely happened is that someone thought it would be cool to have a few of the better ones, and they made the whole collection so that they could do it. It's awful, and they're very ugly to boot , as draft caps have been for years.

The Patriots one is beyond idiotic lol.
I keep picturing the Raymond Cocteau guy from Demolition Man firmly telling Simon Phoenix to "Do your job".

    That makes me like it.

Edit: The Browns should be, "You Had One Job"

NFL Intern: Hey, we'd like to get a quote from you for your team slogan.
Fins Intern: Uh, ok. Go Fins.
    NFL Intern: Got it.
Fins Intern: What's this for anyway?
    NFL Intern: A hat.
    Fins Intern: No, wait...

Is it my imagination or is that an even lighter, more flourescent shade of blue/green? If that's true, I hope that isn't a hint for the new Uniforms. They were already the lightest shade ever, and look very effeminate IMO. I never buy shirts because that color is terrible. They need to darken it back up. Sales may be down due to their performance, but I bet there's a ton of guys who would buy shirts if they would go back to a darker color.

My wife keeps buying me those darn shirts for Christmas and I'm thinking to myself, "Really? Where exactly will a 290 pound man want to wear a fluorescent aqua tee with orange stripes?"

The black shirts with Fins highlight colors, sure...I'll rock those all day long. The white or grey shirts? Sure, I can do that too. But there's no freaking way I'm going out in public looking like a rejected highlighter.
