Stole one. So much for it being a forgone conclusion of 6ers victory shamegame...

When Philly came back to tie it up, Wade had that steal that started the fast break then took over from there.

Dude basically won that game for Miami by himself.

Not sure why he was fat in Cleveland, because non fat Wade is pretty good.

No, we just outplayed them. If anyone "stole" a game, it was Philly shooting 64% from 3 in Game 1.

Wade was incredible, obviously. But defensively we stayed attached all over the floor and didn't let them get clean looks in rhythm. Simmons box score looks good, but he did not get them operating smoothly in the half court. Same thing happened Saturday for the most part, except on Saturday they hit one contested 3 after another.

We'll see how the scheme and lineup stuff changes when Embiid returns.

I meant stole one as in home game.

I'd like to see Spo reward Wade with a start for our opener at home.

I think Wade should start. TJ has been terrible and might benefit from a bench role where he can be a little more aggressive.

But also, Whiteside plays much better with Wade. The few minutes in the 2nd that Wade and Whiteside played together were Hassanā€™s best minutes of the series. Wade knows how to get him the ball and how to get him into the right spots on defense

Cleveland doesn't have any institutional control. Dion Waiters became fat and lazy, IT was allowed to balloon, even Wade couldn't bring his Miami habits to Cleveland. That organization has structural issues.

There are conditioning requirements that have to be met to play in Miami. Once you step into the Triple A to sign a contract you best be ready to lose weight.

Look at the shape Haslem is in and he rarely plays. He is there to set the example. He played 5.1 mpg all season and he looks like he can run a full marathon. Thatā€™s the culture of the Heat.

I like Wade better off the bench. He's still going to play starters minutes essentially, and I think you can manage it where he gets minutes with Whiteside, but that second unit desperately needs someone that can create offense and obviously that's what Wade does. Also, I'm not sure we can expect this kind of efficiency from Wade on a nightly basis.

They really need to keep Dragic going. He was a huge difference maker early in the game before he went out with foul trouble and was big again for a stretch in the 2nd half. Spo has to make sure he is attacking and looking to score. Goran falls too easily back into complementary piece, when he should be the main guy for much of the game.

I also expect to see a better version of Whiteside when Embiid comes back. Not only will he be motivated, but it's just a better match up for Whiteside than having to follow Ilyasova and Saric out to the 3 pt line.

Still can't believe the performance by Wade. Right from the start it was like he knew what they were going to give him and was totally cool with it. Everyone else out there including the Sixers were frenetic and he was like nope, I'm just going to move over here to my left and you're not coming out to me cool that's fine.

But then the end...Heat were deer in headlights when the Sixers got the crowd back into it and made that run. Every part of me knew it was over. Probably for the series. But nope, tomahawk that ball right out of your hands, dunk it, come back and find James Johnson at the basket, and after that it was the Sixers that were clearly shook.

I wonder about the next game after that game. I think the Heat run out to a 2-1 lead. Then we'll see who owns the 'process'. The Sixers could self-destruct because they're so young and inexperienced.

What kills the Heat, and what has killed them all season, are the stretches of stagnant offense. I'm not sure how to keep from doing that, but it doomed them in game 1 and almost did so in game 2. Not only are they not scoring, but Philly is getting transition baskets off the misses. They avoided the "turd quarter" in this one, but it came in the 4th until Wade got that steal and changed the momentum. If they want to win this series, they have to minimize that and keep the ball moving. James Johnson and Winslow have to do a better job taking care of the basketball, too. I've said all season I hate that they really only have one PG on the roster, and you saw some of why that can be a problem when Dragic went out with foul trouble, and those two are trying to do too much.

I could see that too but Iā€™m trying to get Whiteside going. Playing with Ellington isnā€™t going to help that

I know I'm a homer but I'm feeling like Miami is going to win by 12+ tomorrow. Whiteside is going to have a big game regardless of their china doll C playing. 3s are going to pour down too.

I guess it is Harden's time to suck. Shooting 1-12 at the half.

Chris Paul and Gerald Green have the Rockets up by 15. Whenever Moute and Ryan Anderson get back from injuries, Dantoni better not screw with Gerald Green's minutes.

Chris Paul has lost his damn mind. This is like a highlight reel.

Thru 8 quarters, Clint Capela has held KAT to a total of 13 points, lol. Hard not to root for Clint...he was homeless, and soon will be getting $100 mil.

I remember reading Riley would fine players for helping the other team up off the floor. He has to be loving Winslow right now for stomping on Embiids mask. This guy is a beast right now.

The Belinelli and Ilyasova signings have paid off huge for the 6ers. They lucked out with those guys getting cut and then finding near perfect roles in Philly. McConnell should get more burn, imo. Redick needs to be scaled back with his shooting at times.
