So you subscribe to the idea that if you don’t win a championship then you’re a loser and at the same time you’re proud and calling me jealous of your 76ers for being better than the Heat this year even though you have no shot at the Championship?

So you asked me to point out some teams that didn’t tank or sign superstars to win a championship and I did. What is your response? Have you learned anything?

Pacers prove you don’t have to tank to assemble a championship level team. You have to have a smart GM that makes good decisions.

And to think this all started with you whining about Sixers getting rewarded for tanking.....

Now you say they are trash. LMAO

Nothing surprises me on here anymore.

Nah, just not a homer like most blinded fans.

When the product is bad, I’ll let you know.

It was bad for Sixers since AI left town and hard to root for as C level team (hard to root for mediocrity, never will) and then went awful and were hard to root for and are now good and easy to root for.

Heat have been a C level team since 2014 and been hard to root for. I don’t root for mediocrity as it gets you no where. You can agree with everything Miami does and that’s on you. I don’t have to share the same fan mind frame as you. I like to win and I don’t expect you to understand, honestly.

Ben simmons is under contract for the next 3 years. If somehow him and china doll embiid stay healthy, there is still no chance they can compete with Golden State over the next 3 years.

Simmons will move on, hopefully to miami. Maybe New York or LA. So its a good thing Philly fans love tanking so much, because i see it happening again within 5 years.

I agree with the 2nd paragraph, particularly within the same conference. I just cant bring myself to really like any other east team...at all.
You mean pre-arranged to come and play with.

Look at this guy!!!! Lmao definition of a Heat fan, I love it. “Simmons will move on, hopefully to Miami” LMAO LMAO LMAO LMAO LMAO

However, it will take a lot more than Riley staring at him, some warm weather, and the best player being a B level Dragic to convince Simmons to come to Miami... Heat don’t have a Wade in-waiting this time lol Heat need a miracle to reach the finals again. Heat will more than likely be in year two or 3 of tanking by the time Simmons enters FA, if he even does, we have the best young roster in the NBA (which will make it very hard on Simmons to leave) no matter what you sour grapes fans say. Lmao

The more you type the more stupid it gets.

The Heat develop players like GOOD organizations do. They make over players and get the best out of them (as long as the player is willing to). So the Heat always have a chance at competing without having to tank for a decade.

When players come here they invest in themselves and become better. That’s actually part of the appeal to them. But I don’t expect you to understand that being a 76ers fan. You just hope your teams tanks year after year and land high draft picks.

I would think you would know this but the Heat are one of the most stable, professional and competitive organizations in the entire NBA. The owner is 2nd to none.

That doesn’t mean we will win a championship every 5 years or so but we always have a shot with competent ownership and front office staff.

You are a pathetic NBA fan by the sounds of it. You don’t appreciate what you have here in Miami.

Simmons is your young talent. Embiid is very good but i wouldnt count on him long term, dude is fragile.

And please tell me, are you including saric in this best young roster in the nba? Lol

Saric is nearly better than the BEST player on the Heat so calm down big guy. Dragic is 32 and may have a hair on Saric but never had the ceiling either. Saric been feasting on Heat players this series.

    Where is my crow, btw?

I guess you had to eat that one yourself.... that crow taste burnt right?

So your rebuttal after every point I make is to say “your team sucks lol” “we are better than you”.

Again, why are you avoiding the fact that I showed you 2 examples of teams winning without tanking for a half a decade or so?

By losing today, Warriors and Pelicans game 1 would start april 28 should they beat spurs at home in game 5, giving Curry more time.

I've been saying this team is mediocre all year. You are very salty about the team and trashing them. My point is you are clearly a 76ers fan first and probably just liked the flashy LeBron years Heat

Btw.. We were almost in the ECF a few years ago. We haven't been a "C" level team in a very long time.

My favorite Heat Championship is 2004-05, and wouldn’t I be all over the Cavs now if I was a LeBron guy?

What delusions do you have about the Heat? They are C Level right now lol Sixers are B and they sure ain’t on Sixers level.

I am of no delusions. What are the qualifiers besides helping your point of this made up tier of B and C teams?

I have stated the entire year that this is not a very good team. I recall section calling me out for being too down on the team when we were on a tear and I was tempering expectations. My only argument is that you are not a 50/50 fan of 76ers and Heat. As evidenced by you thinking we won in 05.

This Cavs team is BAD. No boxing out, no defender can keep his man in front of him.....no reliable 2nd scorer.

Rockets will sweep whoever comes out of the EAST imo.

Cavs down 2 in the fourth. Lue will be fired in the locker room after the game if they lose.

I really think Dion couldve helped us this series, especially when we have those scoring droughts in the 4th.

What’s your source on this? I’ve heard conflicting info on this issue.

I hope you mean Richardson and Bam. Richardson is highly respected as Miami's glue guy around the league. He's really our only player who is consistently competent on both sides of the ball. The reason I say any trade to improve Miami starts with Whiteside is because the team is going to want to move him first. He's expensive and drags the team down too much.

I'm really scratching my head over that Winslow thing though. He's a draft bust and his saving grace is that he has two relatively inexpensive years left in Miami. He'll get at least one more season to run the floor for Miami, but he has a lot to show before he becomes anything more than some math in a trade.

I still think Winslow can turn the corner on offense. He just needs to finish better at the rim.

  31. CaribPhin

    CaribPhin Guest

More than that, IMO, he needs to replicate his post-Wade return numbers over a longer sample size. If he keeps it up and Waiters returns continuing his inspired play, then Miami has a lot more pieces to move around and construct a team. Either way, no way Winslow is more valuable than Richardson right now.
